Some websites resist when the user opens them as pages to read. In particular, the site begins to display text that is not what is visible on the site page. Sait shows useless "garbage" text. This is veiled trolling, social engineering to force site visitors to open its page along with junk advertising and spying trackers. This application does not know how to deal with this, and therefore is often completely useless.

I'm upset for not knowing about this extension earlier. This is exactly what I had been looking for. Thank you!

Très bien ! Si, sur certains sites, ça ne montre pas tout le texte (à cause des trucs de blocages mis sur le site) il suffit de sélectionner manuellement tout le texte. Même si, en sélectionnant le texte, on sélectionne du même coup des pubs etc, le addon va les reconnaître et ne les ajoutera pas dans le produit final.) (En sélectionnant le texte, ça indique ce qu'on vise.) Une fois le texte entier sélectionné, il suffit de cliquer sur le bouton de l'addon (dans le haut de page, à côté du bouton des extensions). Du coup, ça bascule vers le résultat. Et voilà! De plus, quand ce résultat écrémé en "reader mode" s'affiche, on peut imprimer vers pdf avec le bouton Imprimante du browser, ou avec un autre addon (comme GoFullPage). Le résultat est un texte lisible, sans pubs, et avec toutes les photos et images qui sont dans le texte initial ! Impeccable! Merci au développeur!

It is such a great extension remove unwanted Information from web page and also make them more clearer , so it can be very easy for user to read the Articles and surf through the web page !.

Awesome, removes all the clutter and useless buttons and banners, enables color change to feel comfortable for reading and more customization like fonts. Minimal, easy to use and no jargon. AWESOME!

ReadBee has a nice layout.. especially if you like to copy/paste lwithout getting the dating, word numbers, authorship info in the way as other readers put it. ReadBee doesn't get past paywalls as well as some other readers do.. that can cause time snags. It's nice and simple.. a sort of Mom&Pop extension. There's many other readers with many more options. I'm keeping one with automatic start, and another that allows page editing. ReadBee does not export files. If you don't mind not having image options, chrome-based browser internal reader mode does a good job, but you have to Enable them by pasting chrome://flags/#enable-reader-mode in the address bar and clicking enable. An open-book icon shows in the address bar enabling reader view. Convenient. (though that doesn't work with my auto copy extension) Another excellent option is InstaPaper (and that does work with my auto copy extension). For some reason ReadBee seems to have stopped working with my text auto copy extension.

I like the design but for me the contrast of the dark mode is a bit hard on the eyes. Consider checking with others that often use dark mode to see whether you should make the black background and the white text a bit more gray.

It's amazing! Very clean interface that's intuitive and easy to use. It has a lot of great features, and all of them are helpful. Nothing feels like extra weight or bloatware. Easy to toggle between a handful of provided light and dark themes and you can fully customize the colors if you want with some simple CSS code. nnThe text-to-speech is very handy as well! There's a ton of voices to choose from. A few seem broken, but most have no problem (I only tested the English ones). I really like the KevinV3 voice personally - it's very clear and doesn't sound too high or too low in pitch.nnMy only complaint is that when you change the speed of the voice, it won't go into effect immediately - you have to hit pause, then play again.nnAlso one other minor thing, although I assume this is something the voice providers need to fix: they don't recognize certain characters, such as em dashes—these things that make an interjection—which should have a vocal pause similar to parentheses. The dictation will just read over them, which will throw you off when it reads a sentence with them.

Totally does all that I expect it to do. Awesome little app that remarkably improve the experience of reading articles online. Thank you!

I always appreciate when I use this app. I have a small wish. Please add a translation function using Google Translate. Source language and the Target language can be set in the settings. Please include with the browser like in Safari. Also, don’t change the URL or at least maintain the original displayed in the address bar, and fix the line-height for larger text (auto increase as you scale up/zoom in), and either don’t justify paragraphs or provide the option to turn justification off. Great extension. Thank you! I only wish it offered Times (New Roman or any of its variations) for that bookish look. Also, the only way I found to be able to expand its borders and use up the screen's full width, was by a combination of font size increasing and zooming in/out Chrome.
