Adds a shortcut to group selected tabs.
- Press 'Ctrl/Control+G' to group / ungroup current tab or selected tabs.
- Set "open naming popup" option to show popup after creating tab group.
- Enable fold / unfold command to toggle tabgroups like Alt/Command+Tab.
- Force group/ungroup with "Ctrl/Control+Q", which even works at tabs like chrome:// pages, extension pages and chrome web store.
- You can change all commands at options page.
Click extension icon to open information page.
Tips:
- After changing some options, you probably want to refresh existing tabs if you want to apply changes in them.
- Group and Fold command doesn't work at tabs like chrome:// pages(including New tab page), extension page and chrome web store pages. Move to other tabs using browser command Ctrl/Control+Tab, Ctrl/Control+Shift+Tab and use command there.
- If something doesn't work, try refreshing the tab.

- Just found this extension and thank goodness, I've been looking for something like this. I was wondering if there's plan to add a open group key bind? Something to expand and minimize all the tabs in a group.

- I’ve been really enjoying your "Tab Group Shortcut" Chrome extension—it’s made organizing my tabs so much faster with the CTRL+Q shortcut. It’s a solid tool, and I’d happily give it 4 stars for how it streamlines my workflow. That said, I’d love to see one small improvement: could you add an option for CTRL+Q to automatically default to naming the group? Right now, I have to hit CTRL+Q, then right-click the group color to type a name. It’d be amazing to just press CTRL+Q, start typing the name, and hit Enter to save it—no extra clicks needed. That would make it absolutely perfect for me. Thanks for creating such a useful extension—hoping to see this tweak in a future update! Best regards, Chris

- Simple and Best. The only thing I wish is that I could change the shortcuts. Because Ctrl+G is generally used to search for the next candidate.
