• (2025-07-07) Mahathir: Seems legit and viable, however once I click the button in the top right or the extension button it will load and appear momentarily and then disappear, and leave a blur on my screen stays there unless i delete or refresh the tab, the scroll bar is visible and will move up and down, but that's about it. It seems like it's a simple problem that i cant seem to figure out right now.

• (2025-05-09) Synthetic Remains: Awesome extension, sad it has to exist. I like Discord but they really don't respect your privacy with a lot of features. Takes a while to delete super old chats but that's not a fault of the extension, Discord's API can't handle mass deletion very well. Gets the job done eventually, though.

• (2025-02-03) TennesseeWestEndDistrict_Railfan8111: it's good, but a BIG problem it only lets you delete your messages by selecting it. this would be a huge problem for users that have lots of messages, say like 10,000 messages in a discord server. my suggestion is to add an option to delete all messages from a channel without having to select it yourself

• (2025-01-27) ニコ: Absolute perfect. It took around 10 minutes to delete 300 messages, but it did exactly what i needed. Cleared DM's with people i didn't want any with. Amazing. Wish it was faster, but an extremely minor complaint.
• (2025-01-24) Mark Biesma: This works great for deleting many messages in a channel! Unfortunately, the Discord Bots are limited to deleting messages that are a maximum of 14 days old.
• (2025-01-20) TotalBlank: Works as intended and have had no issues using it from time to time in the past few years. Deletes my messages from DMs and anywhere else.

It was working fine, but then it suddenly stopped being able to delete my own messages in a private DM that had a lot of messages. I have not been able to find any help as to why it would suddenly no longer be able to do so, and as a result i'm giving it a low score.

• (2024-11-27) R M: This is the only Discord extension that provides all three: custom search, export, and bulk-deletion. In addition, it doesn't have arbitrary limits in an attempt to force you to purchase (unlike the other three more popular Chrome extensions that I tested). The export also allows options of including/excluding assets such as attachments, etc. It also exports the emoji reactions. Due to all of the extra functionality in exporting, the export process is a bit slower than some other tools; however, that's not the fault of the developer, it's a result of the robustness of the export. You can choose to export to JSON or without attachments, etc -- to increase the speed. Thank you so much to the developer for the best Discord tool, and for not limiting the user with a truly free tool.

I've been going through a very tough time and couldn't find an effective way to actually save the messages and content that were being sent to me without overloading my computer and spending weeks gathering just bits. Now I can and it makes me happy that everyone has public access to this resource. • (2024-10-10) Paul: Great tool! Saves me enormous amount of time. Thanks! A couple of suggestions: 1) Make reactions export optional. It takes a long time for a tool to process it; 2) Would be great if you could break down files during export by day or by week. It would make it easier to navigate.
• (2024-09-27) Aoqi: Honestly, I didn't put much faith in it. All of Discord's bulk delete tools are either too complicated (for my IQ of 23) or paid, but this one is free and super easy to use. In fact, I think even someone who doesn't speak English could use it with the help of a translator. In addition to everything else I've mentioned, it works like a charm. Of course, it does take a while. Especially if you have several messages like I do, but patience is a virtue. Also, the extension has other functions besides deleting messages, all of which are very nice to have, although I haven't used any of them except for purging.
