The YCS (YouTube Comment Search) is a chrome extension.
Search comments, replies, chat replay, video transcript for the current video on YouTube by contents, authors, time.
Features:

Instructions:
1. Open video on YouTube
2. Find the YCS extension under the current video and click the button "Load all" or choose to load the categories
3. Write the search query, press Enter or click the button Search
FAQ
1) How to like, reply to a comment?
In the search results, click on the date (like, "2 months ago") of the comment, reply and will open a new window with an active comment or reply under the video, where you can do any action.
2) How do I find all timestamped comments and replies on a video?
Click on the "Time stamps" button under the search bar.
3) How can I find addressed to user's comments, replies?
Write " @ " in the input field.
4) How can I view the contents of the video transcript at a specific minute?
You can write a search query for Trp. Video, in the " mm:ss " format. For example:
" : " - all the text of the video transcript.
" 15: " - all the text in the 15th minute.
And etc.
5) How can I view the comment for a found reply?
Click on the " ▼ " button.
6) How can I see the all replies to the found comment?
In the header of the found comment, you can find the reply icon and the count, to see the replies click on the " + " button.
7) How to use search in YouTube shorts?
Open a YouTube video short. Click badge YCS (right of the address bar) and click on the button Open YT short.
You can use the search engine (YCS), while loading comments, chat, transcript video.

EDIT 30/03/24: Unfortunately it seems to have stopped loading comments. It was a great extension but I see the developer seemingly hasn't been active on Github for 2 years now so I'm not holding out hope that it'll get fixed. I got it working again for a little bit but can't remember what of the hundred things I tried actually worked. This extension is so important to my work, I'd happily pay premium for it. I hope developer gets this back up and running. Aug 27, 2022: 5 stars! Thank you for the prompt update to the dark mode issue! This is easily my #1 extension, it's a game changer for anyone who needs to be sorting through thousands of comments.

It caught my eye as I was looking at the progress of my own Youtube related extension, then I read the reviews, and then I downloaded to understand how this works and it honestly blew past all of my expectations. After creating my own extension, I honestly was not aware that an extension could manipulate the UI of the Youtube page itself, and based on the experience I had with my own extension, im struggling to imagine how you would have been able to manage this all via JavaScript, nevertheless since there was no google authentication required using googleoauthflow, I cannot say for certain that it isnt. If only I could get in contact with the creator to pick their brain because this is the type of software that makes me want to continue learning programming and software development. Amazing stuff!

- (2023-03-04) Alexander Gremory: Does what it should but is incapable of assisting replies, to reply to to a video you must click on the date, have a new tab open up, wait for the page to load (killer on bad devices), then get an annoying audioblast you've likely already listened too, and then reply from the default youtube comment section. This would be so much more useful if you could comment directly.
