• (2020-03-24) Rin Olsson: I wish I could give this more stars, especially as I've used it for a year without any problems. Sure, it's clunky and, as other reviewers mentioned, looks absolutely nothing like the sample photos. But it worked decently. Then, it started glitching. I've lost nearly 60 pages of a solid second draft, and there's no way to recover them. I wouldn't recommend this program at all — two stars seems generous.
• (2018-03-21) Richie Bee: This app is broken and does not function properly on a chromebook, which you'd think is the ideal UI for it. There is a massive UI control on the top of the page which doesn't allow you to do anything. Changing the title is near impossible. Changing formatting is not remotely close to as seamless as it should be. This has proven more frustrating to use than anything else and that is extremely disappointing considering it works on windows... if this is ever fixed I would be happy to use it, but for not it is more annoying than useful.

• (2016-10-06) Show Somsortov: Interface is ok, but a bit basic. However after saving a script, I came back later and tried to open it, and nothing happens. No indication where scripts are saved, or even if it was saved at all. Kind of pointless if it can't even save your work.
• (2016-09-04) Bill Allen: I've used both Final Draft and Celtx and let me tell you that EZscript is the very best screenwriting software I ever used. Whats great about it is you don't have to think about formatting at all and you can focus solely on story. I was able to write my 172 page script entirely in ezscript within 4 months. I'm about to begin working on a short film using ezscript again so I figured I would write a review for it. In my honest opinion anyone who gives this software a negative review is crazy to me. Final Draft while a great software is outdated and extremely overpriced. Celtx doesn't even display page count numbers which makes it impossible to track turning points when your writing or scene length. Install this app. Its free after all. I would gladly page $100 for this app any time. Thanks Maven for making such an incredible and easy to user screenwriting app.
• (2016-03-05) Megan Laney: It's decent enough, but the interface is nothing like the photos. Also it does nothing for trying to work at speed. Are there any shortcuts to help workflow?
• (2015-12-11) Z Film: Wouldn't load a saved script. Interface is pretty bad, really wanted to give it a try but it wouldn't let me very far.
• (2015-10-04) Hamish: Great functionality. Exports to .fountain no problems. I had some trouble with the print function initially, but found that exporting the fountain and printing in a third party program (Afterwriting etc) works fine for my purposes.

• (2015-08-08) Have Hope Football Hut: So far so good. But will see if there are any issues. Very basic and more stripped down than Final Draft. But it does the job, which is what I need for screenwriting. So not tempting fate...let's see if more errors come in the coming months

• (2015-07-07) Michele Simeoni: I bought a Chromebook so that I can write. I've had this thing for about 30 minutes now. This app is the first addition to my Chromebook. Only one issue. I don't have a drop-down to save, or export. What am I doing wrong? Someone please help.. Thanks!
