Video Speed Controller Plus is a simple yet effective extension for slowing down or speeding up videos on websites such as YouTube, Netflix, Hotstar and many others. It can also be used on social media platforms. The extension is compatible with Chrome, Firefox, and other popular browsers.
This extension tool is absolutely free. In addition, you can use the shortcut keys as well without having to open the extension (Make sure to pin it first). You can use the shortcut keys below:
• Speed Up: CTRL + Shift + Right Arrow.
• Slow Down: CTRL + Shift + Left Arrow.
• Reset: CTRL + Shift + Up Arrow.
Minimum Speed: 0.25x
Maximum Speed: 8.00x
How To Use Video Speed Controller Plus:
• Download the Video Speed Controller Plus extension.
• Pin it to the extension bar.
• Open any desired OTT platforms.
• Use the shortcut keys or the extension’s pop-up window to adjust the playback speed of the video.

- Thanks for your work! Some feature requests: 1. Quick set on some speed. The current version use a slider to change speed, but someone like me want to quickly set to exactly 1.5x or 2x instead 1.93x 2. On Arc browser with macOS, the shortcut on youtube.com not works, Ctrl+Shift+Right Arrow will forward the video 30s

- It's fine but there're a couple of issues. First, on TikTok it doesn't remember the settings when you scroll to the next video (you have to set the speed again every time you scroll). That issue doesn't happen on YouTube shorts though. Second, the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Arrow is not a good pick, because it overrides the shortcut to select whole words. It should rather be configurable.
