  • (2015-11-03) Watte: Just one negative thing: The sidebar which displayes the url-calls is not cleanable, so you always have to scroll to the last entry.

  • (2014-09-17) Jeferson Daniel: Muito bom e pode ser adaptado para outros frameworks com facilidade.
  • (2014-08-19) Diego Alonso Uribe Gamez: A great tool, works very well to analyze the ajax request for Django, thanks.
  • (2014-05-13) Andrew Hart: AS previous reviewer pointed out, this is great for debugging JSON output. The debug toolbar itself is great for HTML, but using the regular debug toolbar by itself with something like "tastypie" for your API output becomes annoying and requires additional middleware, etc.. This plugin makes tracing those calls much better! If you are building a REST (or REST-like) API then definitely check this out.
  • (2014-01-29) Jesse Crocker: Great for profiling calls that the debug toolbar doesn't work for because they don't return html.

  • (2018-03-05, v:0.7) May you share your source code of the extension (not Django debug_panel app)
Hi recamshak, We love you extension, but we would like to adjust it a little bit to match with our team workflow. Could you share the source code of the extension with us so we can modify by ourselves? Thanks you.
  • (2016-06-13, v:0.7) Tim Court: No data shown
I see nothing but white screen in chrome devtools. The Django Debug tab is there, the left side is showing all the requests, but when I click on one nothing happens. If I click a really old request I see a warning about configuring the cache framework, but clicking a new request shows nothing. :(
  • (2015-11-18, v:0.7) Benoit Luisier: stack traces issue
The panel works almost nicely... The only problem I have is that the stacktraces that were working like a charm in the toolbar are not showing up anymore when I activate the panel (in sql window for exemple)... any idea?
  • (2015-11-16, v:0.7) Ivan Klass: HTTPS
Panel doesn't show up when server is running unverified HTTPS cert. When I open browser page, I'm able to add security exception (press [proceed to mysite.com (unsafe)]). I see debug toolbar for HTML, but panel doesn't show up in devtools. If I inspect headers and open X-debug-data-url in browser tab, it works, so can it be fixed? Is there any workarounds, eg. how can I add security exception to devtools tab requests?
  • (2015-04-29, v:0.6) Does not work anymore?
Hi, I've tried to use this twice in the last few months. Went though all the installation steps, and no data was ever shown in the panel. Before I dig deeper and put some time into seriously debugging it, is it known to not work with Django 1.7 and/or latest Chrome? What is the state of the project? Thanks, Dan Palmer
