Collecting this data creates a fair experience for all candidates by allowing legitimate use, such as checking reference documentation, while flagging negative activities like searching for pre-built solutions. The extension does not evaluate or store previous history, cookies, or other browser data.
We encourage you to close all open tabs before installing the extension and starting the interview.
Your privacy and comfort while taking the interview are important. This extension uses the Chrome API that allows extensions to access tabs, including URLs and titles. When installing the Filtered Extension in Chrome, you will receive a security alert that says the extension can "read your browser history." This lets you know that as you open and close tabs, the extension can access information about the sites you are visiting. This permission does not grant access to your entire browser history - only tabs open when you launch your interview and those you access during the interview. - (2023-08-10) pgb twoofive: Using this is easily one of the creepiest things that I've ever been asked to do for an interview. Monitors your tabs, records audio and video form your computer. Gets your home address etc. Asks permission after the interview to authenticate to either your linkedin(and grabs all the info) or your other social media accounts. I am deeply regretful after having used this extension, and wish I had decided not to interview using this tool. If you care for your personal information at all do not use!

- (2021-09-23) Patrick Meyer: WARNING: DO NOT INSTALL. Obstruction of privacy for the sake of skill assessment is completely inappropriate. This extension will record your BROWSER HISTORY and monitor your OPEN TABS. If you come across this in an interview, please run the other way.
- (2021-04-16) The Swank: Extreme invasion of privacy. Monitors tabs, audio, video, and periodically takes pictures of your screen. I didn't even open the test once I saw what the add-on was doing. Don't bother taking the coding challenge unless you want to work for a trash company whose business model is to breach user privacy. They're a bottom of the barrel garbage corporation with no morals lol. Their product makes society worse. The ideal future (dystopia) for this company is one where employees forfeit their right to privacy. A line must be drawn.
- (2020-10-23) Ryan Thomas: This is an awful extension and an ever worse practice by employers. If a company is having you use this software as an interview tool, you should seriously consider if it the kind of place you would like to work. This application speaks volumes in that a company is only willing to invest the least amount of time possible to find people who can regurgitate code. Interviews are a 2-way street - as developers we need to be invested in working together to solve problems - this app loudly states that the company you are interviewing with does not care about you in the slightest.
- (2020-10-22) As of the date of this review, it appears that the purpose of this extension is to spy on the other tabs open in your web browser, and send a list of those tabs to their servers for their spying purposes. This sort of spyware is a disturbing snapshot of the Orwellian future of computing which we will head to if we willingly accept these intrusions against our liberty!

- (2018-12-01) Zhe Zan: This platform is antihuman and difficult to use. Moreover, I had to finish a lot of questionnaires before I can submit my interview! I don't know why the company is using this disgusting platform
