Avoid having to download the manifest file and then open in a text editor just to view it.
The extension works by blocking the download when the manifest is requested as the main url and then parses and displays it. Some syntax highlighting and definition links to the ietf.org draft documentation. To download the manifest file, click on the source url at the top of the page. Resources are linked in the manifest to make it easy to test the different parts.
You can test it out using a sample manifest url like https://bitdash-a.akamaihd.net/content/MI201109210084_1/m3u8s/f08e80da-bf1d-4e3d-8899-f0f6155f6efa.m3u8

Hi Mike, If ".m3u" is included in a query parameter, not the file path, it will open the extension viewer. This causes problems when you have the manifest url specified in query parameters, such as the way some demo players work. Example: https://www.google.com/?.m3u - (2018-09-09, v:0.9.1) how it works?

Hey Mike, would be really nice if the would also support MPEG-DASH Manifest Files. Chrome has no function to view any files just as text-files like Firefox is doing just by using "view-source:" infront of the URL. So analysing any Manifest like .m3u8 or .mpd is more clicks away because they need to download. Your tool is really nice for that. To add .mpd DASH-Manifests would make it nicer :-) Thanks and best regards...
