Updated to work with Chrome v30 (beta)
The Exceda Akamai Headers Extension will allow you to view debug headers for your site that is using Akamai as its CDN. Simply navigate to the site you own, and an icon will appear. Click on it to receive debugging information - as well as a quick link to refresh the content in the Akamai cache. (Akamai Luna Control User with appropriate permissions required for this to function). By default the extension will run on all URLs visited by your browser. To stop this behavior, you can either choose to turn off the extension, or add a series of URLs to a whitelist. The extension will then only run for those sites.
For a given site, you can also now view the caching headers for any asset on the page via the Web Inspector. Just simply find the resource on the resource tab after it has loaded, select it and you will see the caching headers - if they are set - here.

- (2015-01-22) Elijah Lynn: 1.) It is useful 2.) It slows down every page, I think due to poor JS, make sure to not have this enabled too much or you will become mad due to this. 3.) The TTL is inaccurate, it just grabs it from the cache object path, not the actual max-age etc. Therefore it isn't useful if you have Akamai set to inherit Origin Cache Control headers since it falls back to a default value and still shoves that ttl in the cache object path. 4.) It doesn't appear to be open source so people can help fix crap like #1 & #2.

After installing the extension to chrome on OS X Yosemite, chrome takes considerably more time to load pages even from intranet sites located locally. "Waiting for extension Exceda Akamai Header" displayed at the bottom. After disabling Exceda extension Chrome now loads pages fast again. I've noticed after an update to chrome on Linux Mint that chrome takes considerably more time to load pages even from intranet sites located locally. Observing as a page loads one can see many messages at the bottom stating that chrome is waiting for Exceda Akamai Header Extension. After disabling Exceda extension Chrome now loads pages fast again. Not sure if this is a problem with Chrome or your extension. But it would be great to see this issue fixed if possible.
