Use this free screen recorder software to make video recordings / screen recordings directly from the Chrome browser and share these video recordings with your friends/colleagues.
To begin using the software Screen Recorder for Google Chrome™, simply click on "Start Capture" to begin recording your computer screen. Once you have finished recording your video, click on "Stop capture" to stop the video. You can save the video you made onto your computer/Google Drive.
Its simple and easy to use Screen recorder to make video tutorials/software help videos etc and much more.

- I have tried several recorders and really like this one. It is easy to use, videos come out great, and are easily convertible to other formats with video programs. The video quality is great as long as the original is in good condition. My only downside is the time frame allowed to record. There is no actual break off but I have had to re-record several times as the program stops at a certain time and closes without saving. I have read the instructions but time varies on videos so it is hard to be accurate. This is something that needs to be addressed. I totally recommend this video recorder as being one of the top free ones available.

- 2.8.2026 ~ Today wasn't great. I created several screenrecordings. My voice couldn't be heard but the tab's audio could. 3 times the tab's audio was jumbled and jarggled...hard to understand/unclear. Create a way for both the recorder's voice to be heard and for the tab's audio to be heard.

- It's as easy to install and play as a breeze, but there is no selection of audio source, ie. the internal audio vs. the mic sound. It only records the latter. Also, the extension opens as a whole separate tab/URL rather than a small floating and portable window popped up on the page being recorded.

- I figured out how to work it, but 1) it frequently fails on recordings more than an hour 2) you can't actual set the parameter of the recording to fit the size of the recording unless you go full screen 3) it can be very hard to find recordings 4) there is NO TECH support, and this from a billion dollar corp!

- SURE SEEMS TO BE DIALED, IT OPENS THE WINDOW YOOU WANT CATCH FTER STARTING THE RECORD PROCESS, MOVES FUNCTION BUTTONS TO THE CHOSEN WINDOW AND IT WORKS FLAWLESS. I IMAGINE IT DOES THE SAME QUALITY JOB IN THE OTHER RECORD DESTINATION OPTIONS TOO... GREAT TOOL
