Description from extension meta

Displays current blood glucose from Sugarmate and displays on extension icon.

Image from store Sugar Now
Description from store Fetches your current blood glucose from Sugarmate 'External JSON' periodically and displays it with the trend on the extension-icon as a persistent badge. Your blood glucose is always visible on your browser as you go about your work. The color changes subtly to indicate rising or falling glucose. Clicking the icon shows recorded time for the last known glucose value. NOTE: You need to have the Sugarmate app (https://sugarmate.io) installed to use this extension. Sources for the glucose data can come from a CGM monitor like the Dexcom G6 or fingerprick data that was manually recorded. NOTE: Make sure to pin the app so it is visible in the browser bar. NOTE: This extension is not affiliated with Sugarmate.

  • (2021-12-29) Joshua Preston: The extension was great until the SugarMate/Dexcom debacle of 2021. Since Sugarmate can now retrieve CGM data from the newer API channels on Dexcom, Sugarmate has turned off the JSON feed that it made available, and that this Extension needs in order to run. @Seshadri, it would be awesome if you could get this working again. It has been a really convenient way to keep track of my daughters Blood Sugar levels while I am working.
  • (2021-03-24) Iris Chatelain: first pin the extention. then you can click on the pinned extention icon to show the result bg in mmol and see the +/- bg change and arrow of direction typed out at the bottom of the open dialogue. i just wish it would allow you to choose to automatically display in mmol vs only mg because i use mmols in my sugarmate. that is the benefit of using sugarmate for those of us that prefer mmols, since dexcom does not display in mmols and displays only in mg, sugarmate makes it possible to view your readings in mmols and that makes my life easier! this is a good little extention that serves a simple but very helpful purpose. makes it so you can see your bg in mg with just a glance at the top of the window without much fuss. thanks for this cool tool. nice work. looking forward to the possibility of viewing in mmols!
  • (2020-10-21) Jared Beiswenger: Great app. Just wish it could would show the +/- since the last reading.
  • (2020-09-07) Shaine Chance: If the data shown can be changed from mg to mmol (or have the option to switch) would be good. My set up is mmol so seeing the mg number does not really mean much to me.
  • (2019-09-09) Sesh Sridharan: Convenient glucose indicator that updates automatically. Must for diabetics on CGM
