Tired of having to click on each ad to find out where it is located? Mapview lets you view Kijiji™ listings on a beautiful interactive map.
WHAT IT DOES:
While you are on Kijiji, this extension puts all your search results on a map. Searching and filtering for search results should be done by you through Kijiji's built-in searching features. This extension merely maps whatever is on your screen.
LIST OF FEATURES:
- View listings on an interactive map.
- View the full descriptions and all images of every listing right from the search results.
- Load results from next page without leaving current page.
- (NEW!) Mapview now works on your "My Favourites" page.

- (2020-03-11) Andrew H: Amazingly useful for browsing search results by location (think real estate/rentals, or where there are multiple results that might meet your needs). Combine it with the kijiji "Within a certain distance of this address" filter for best results.

It took me a few tries to figure out how it works (you have to look for the button on the bottom right of your screen - or at least that is where it was for me). But it makes searching for things in your area so much quicker! The map pop-ups make it possible to see the add without leaving the map-view, which is also a great plus.

I wonder why kijiji doesn't just add this extension's feature permanently in their website. The only minor bug was when I had a different zooming on the kijiji site, but it was solved after I zoomed out and then zoomed in again.

Super excited to see where the author goes with this add on as its already well thought out and executed. A few bugs were noted with the map display at the time of writing but i am confident these will be resolved based on how well everything else is working. Great job author! highly recommended!

I have the latest extension v0.0.0.8 downloaded into Chrome, it's definitely turned on (ie. your icon is showing in the header bar, and it's purple)... but nothing happens. I've gone into Kijiji.ca->Real Estate->Rentals->Short Term Rentals... I have a list of results... but now what? There is no indication of how I'm supposed to get the map to come up. I can do it through each listing, like normal - but there is no map with all the results showing on a map. And there's nothing obvious that I'm supposed to click... a button somewhere? Is it possible to have your list of saved items in Mapview? I generally save anything I am interested in and then before I have to go somewhere out of my local area I check my saves to see if anything is still available. This would make that much easier. Thanks. Great Product.
