• (2024-04-09) ultra coolboy: EDIT 3/5/2022 (again) did some messing around and now it's working, make sure you go into the extension settings and toggle acess on and off for it to work Edit: 3/13/2024 stopped working today xd Edit3/20/2024 ok so I know the creator was not dealing with any issues and I want to report this extension dose work in incognito mode, did some messing around with the extension in the settings trying to manually update it and now images don't even open up on the side the black background just opens up on the side, gonna try reinstalling it. Edit-2 3/20/2024 so I tested it out in on another profile and it actually worked so I'm not sure if any other extentions are getting in the way of this one, I even cleared my cookies and still no luck Edit 4/9/2024- it's working again now, sorry google is being such a pain with ruining the extension like this with their site changes.

• (2024-03-22) n ascentt: This is incredibly well made. It looks completely native and not at all hacked on top of what's really underneath. I'm in awe at how well this turned out. Have installed it on Chrome and Firefox and am recommending it to others. Great job. Edit: 5 years later it still works great in chrome and firefox for me. Although it doesn't work in edge (which supports chrome addons). Would be happy to help provide info to the developer but it looks like their github is read only.

• (2022-05-29) Quasarist Magnetar!: It exactly does what says: Restoring Old Google Images Layout with "View Image" button! not that images be showed in the right side of the window/tab, but under the clicked Image(Old fashion google images if you remember it ;) the only problem is the clicked image that are shown in the window, are a little small compared to the new google images layout and you really need to use view image button to see a large size of every image! generally very nice and I like it👍

• (2021-12-08) C F: great extension I've used it for the last couple of years only issue right now is some images resolutions are not rendering completely and end up looking lower quality than they are, however when disabling the extension and using the current native image interface the problem goes away I've checked this against the exact same image. I'm not sure if you can fix this but I thought id let you know. Still a usable extension though thanks.
• (2021-11-11) Deadpoolryconn: Good extension but it only seems to work properly on the first half of the Google image page. After that when you click to view an image it opens to a version that is smaller to the one you are trying to view. It can be very inconvenient but otherwise it works fine.
• (2021-11-07) Darth Bombad: Works great! I'm so glad to be rid of Google's horrid "new" layout. I honestly can't image search without it. There is however one small problem with their last update. The Little refining categories at the top of the page. https://i.imgur.com/HCr783p.gif Are gone whenever this extension is enabled. https://i.imgur.com/OPCnijw.jpg They're actually quite useful. And i'd love for them to make a return.
