• (2023-11-13) Koji Doi: 昔は良いソフトだったのに…… 全然使い物にならなくなっていた。そもそもダウンロードすべきファイルの選択がマトモに出来ない。うっかりダウンロードを始めたら、一つ一つわけのわからないHTMLファイルを作ろうとする。画像ファイルをダウンロードしようとしているのにだぞ。そして、実際にはその謎のHTMLファイルはさくせいされないのだ！にもかかわらず、延々繰り返して「名前を付けて保存」メニューが出続けるのだ。このサイクルを止めることはできない。何をやっても「名前を付けて保存」「名前を付けて保存」「名前を付けて保存」……。その間他の作業も全く受け付けられない。ブラウザを強制終了しようとも、再起動した途端に何事もなかったように「名前を付けて保存」を繰り返し始めるという凶悪さ。いったいどうなっているんだ…昔はあんなに使いやすいソフトだったのに。

• (2023-07-25) Sean: Love this extension. Been using it for years to download and save videos from, well all sorts of websites. 99% of the time it works perfectly. I rarely come across a site it can't download the video from. Not sure what there is to complain about. First, to anyone wondering why you can't download YouTube videos. This is a limitation of the Chrome version only. Because Google dose not allow extensions in the chrome web store that enable the downloading of YouTube videos (they want to keep that locked behind YT Premium). All the other versions of DownThemAll (Firefox, Edge etc) fully support downloading YouTube videos. I use it frequently with Edge and Firefox and it downloads YT videos no problem. To the person who is complaining in their review that it dose not accelerate downloads at all. Well. Yeah. Why did you think that's what this is? On the official website the developer has a FAQ and when asked if it's a download accelerator they say this "The WebExtension currently does not really except for optimized queue handling. The Legacy version does". The "WebExtension" version is the modern version on all browsers. So it's not meant to be a download accelerator. I use IDM for that and it's fantastic it also can download videos, but I find that videos downloaded with IDM for some reason take longer to seek around when playing the video, something to do with the format it encodes it in, a problem I have never had with any video downloaded using DownThemAll.

• (2023-07-13) Tim Marshall: It's just not obvious how to get it to AUTOMATICALLY download a bunch of files on a page. Mate, I can download them MANUALLY myself. I don't need a downloader for that.
• (2023-07-08) MurderChickenXL: Without the ability to segment downloads (greatly increasing the download speed), it simply cannot be called a download accelerator in any sense of the word. Maybe I missed an option? I get faster downloads directly through Chrome if I enable "parallel downloads" in the Chrome flags section. That's sort of the same thing as DTA's segmented option in older Firefox versions, though it's still much slower by comparison. DTA version. 3.xx was golden before Firefox ESR went past vs. 52.9 At least it keeps a list of prior downloads persistantly which you can access by just opening the extension's Manager via the icon. Credit to the dev for trying to keep up with the madness that modern browsers have cursed us with, removing useful functions, literally blocking extensions that used to work, etc. Other DA type of extensions are dealing with the same thing. There's only so much developers can do with Chrome, the totalitarian dictator of all browsers.

• (2022-12-26) George: Dangerous - crippled Chrome even after Force Kill & Reboot. I asked it to download a list of images and it kept saving .html files instead (appearently it cant deal with redirect pages). This caused an infinite series of Save As popups. After holding ESC for 10 minutes watching thousands of popups close, even Force Kill didn't help, since the infinite popups returned after restart. I couldn't access settings anymore. I had to do a full uninstall of Chrome to get this extension removed. BE CAREFUL.

• (2022-11-01) Eduardo PC: Últimamente no me descarga los archivos con extensión .WEBP, ni siquiera los renombra como .JPG, y no veo en la configuración ninguna forma de añadir este tipo de imágenes. ¿Alguien sabe algo? (Creo recordar que hace tiempo SÍ los descargaba (tal vez haya tocado las opciones sin darme cuenta).

• (2022-04-04) Ken Schwartz: I just discovered the Chrome version and am very happy. I used this a lot in the past and missed it after I switched to Chrome years ago. There are a few features that others have mentioned that I hope to see (e.g., file size filter, preserving original date of last modification), and I wish I could stop Adobe Acrobat from automatically opening every .pdf I download (which is mostly what I use this for), but it's already worth 5 stars.

• (2022-02-24) Manuel Alejandro Pizarro: Cada ves que descarga un archivo de la cola salta la ventana para confirmar la descarga, lo que lo hace completamente inutil para descargar galerias de imagenes sin supervision de un usuario ya que por cada archivo que intenta descargar nos pide confirmacion, lo que no ocurria en la version de firefox, ademas no da la opcion de elegir la carpeta de descarga desde el menu donde las vamos a agregar, se parece a DownloadThemAll pero no es nuestro DownloadThemAll. Una lastima, era la extension que mas queria del viejo Firefox 56.
