• (2023-05-30) P H: Something has changed recently (writing this on 5/30/23) causing the extension to break YouTube Music. YT-M will just act like it is loading the first song to play indefinitely, never succeeding to do so. It wasn't until I turned off the Video blocker under the YouTube Music section in the extension options that the issue stopped happening. Since this feature is the primary reason I use the add-on, the add-on no longer has value to me. Hopefully this will be fixed in a future version.

• (2023-01-06) Natakiro: It works great, overall. However, sadly, it does not work with Picture-in-picture mode on the Vivaldi (chromium) browser; it just refuses to enter this mode. The option to show a static thumbnail is a nice option, and I was hoping I could enter PIP mode with this mini player showing this static image, since I like seeing the cover of the album of playlists on my other reference screen while doing digital art, but it just doesn't work. it seems I will just have to turn the quality down to use PIP and not use this extension. :(

Only one thing should be fixed: if the extension is enabled only for the current tab and I restart the browser, the extension is not enabled anymore for the same tab and I have to enable it again. Besides this, it is perfect from my point of view ;-)

• (2022-11-21) Arseniy P: upd. нет кнопки на youtube shorts. ещё бы встроить переключатель или кнопку быстрых настроек в right click menu на страницах youtube, лучше по желанию включать отключать её там. о, ещё тема для отдельного расширения, наверное. хочется иметь возможность скачивать thumbnails в удобной кнопке(не знаю, куда бы её поместить. но тоже можно в right click menu страницы, наверное) но сразу переименовать их названием из tittle page, качать в макс качестве картинки. они весят всё равно очень мало, сравнительно. если переименовывать, то добавить навзвание канала в конце или в начале.

• (2022-10-13) Matthew P (Code Bender): I've been using this extension for a few weeks now, and I like it, but it's unfortunate that it's a bit of a pain to access from the YouTube Music app since you can't pin extensions in that. My main complaint is that it doesn't reliably prevent the automatic hourly (?) pausing that YouTube does to make sure you're still listening. As a feature request, I would love to see a context menu option to allow the video on a song-by-song basis, or even a context option to enable / disable video as we wish. This would make it much more accessible than having to navigate the menus to turn off all the features on the page. One other observation is that the song art still displays in the Toast notification on Windows 10 when you use a keyboard command (I have one with media controls) to pause the music. All together a solid extension though. 😀

One gripe I do have is that it wasn't clear enough there was a shortcut to enable/disable the extension for a tab (not a lot of people read the update logs, especially if they just downloaded the extension!). Also, I saw a suggestion where the extension should display the thumbnail instead of the logo/black screen and I do agree: it would make the extension even better! Anyway, 5/5, best extension of its kind, and as someone said "It just works".
