Search Made Even More Powerful
Be both searching and managing at the same time with GO (offered by ic2) - 120-day free trial
After having built a photo album for "Trip to Australia - 2010" and an album for "Trip to Australia - 2018", would you also want another one for "The Sydney Opera House - 2010 and 2018" and another one for "The Gold Coast - 2010 and 2018"? And if you loved visiting the places very much, some additional albums like "Sydney in the Summer", "Sydney in the Winter", and "Sydney - People and Streets" would be nice to have too.
In such cases, "Search the collections to get the photos" might be a more natural approach to most people. However, search results are not being "managed" the same way as the traditional albums (folders), yet.
Now, GO (integrated with Google Drive™) bridges the gap by allowing dynamic folders to be formed using search requests as if the file folder structures get customized dynamically for different needs from different users at different times.
In GO, you may hardly notice any differences between using the traditional folders and using the dynamic folders. But the benefit of having both the flexibilities of searches and the reliabilities of the folders will be obvious and significant.
For computers including Mac: this Chrome extension (120-day free trial)
Android App (free): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ca.icic.gdriveorganizer
iOS (iPhone/iPad) App (free): https://apps.apple.com/us/app/go-a-get-organized-tool/id1537331735
In GO (integrated with Google Drive™ by ic2), you may hardly notice any differences between using the traditional folders and using the dynamic folders, but the dynamic folders are actually both providing direct access to the files (like searches) and managing the files (like the folders) at the same time without the original file folder being changed in any way.

GO tries to provide functionalities such as multiple accessing paths to the same file collections in parallel using search requests, and it only 'sees' data stored in your Google Drive and will NOT be able to 'create', 'edit', or 'delete' anything that affects your data in the Drive (except for the tags/descriptions set on files/folders when they are needed for the managing tasks).
In other words, feel free to try out any functionality you see in the App - they are all very safe - nothing harmful can happen to any of your files when you try them.
