ShopBack - Cashback & Rewards

I have tried to withdraw cashback multiple times and keep getting rejected for no clear reason. Have tried getting in contact with a human being from ShopBack about this issue but that does not seem possible at this point. Utterly frustrating.

The pop up coming up all the time is really annoying. Come on now.

I absolutely love the ShopBack Cashback & Rewards Chrome extension! It makes online shopping so much easier and more rewarding. The best part is how it automatically reminds me when cashback is available – no more missing out on deals. It’s so satisfying knowing I get money back on purchases I was already going to make. The setup was quick, it runs smoothly in the background, and I’ve already saved a noticeable amount just from everyday shopping. I also like that it shows me promo codes at checkout, so I save even more. Honestly, it feels like free money back every time I shop online. Handy sometimes, but WAY too intrusive, and there needs to be the ability to exclude domains either using regex, or subdomains. Using AWS (ap-southeast-2.console.aws.amazon.com) keeps prompting me to activate ShopBack because the domain ends in amazon.com EVEN WHEN Amazon is excluded

easy, no missing cashback. However, not showing bonus cashback, i.e. from the bank could be improved. That way, I have to return to the site to check.

Works well on small purchases, but denied me on a big purchase

Has a forced popup on all websites that have vouchers available, including video sites like Twitch or Disney plus, meaning there is a permanent thing on the screen while trying to watch videos. It also often causes high cpu usage when loading.

This extension is great. I just installed it and I'm already going to be paying $29.99 less because of rebates.

The inability to turn off the large popup in the upper-right hand corner upon page load is very annoying. There should be an extension option to disable it.

Very bad experience If I could give zero stars, I would. Booked a hotel through ShopBack in April for an August stay. After the trip, I found out there was no cashback. I contacted customer service, but they hid behind their “must claim within 30 days of booking” rule. Here’s the absurd part: they also state cashback is only confirmed after you’ve completed the stay. So how can anyone possibly claim within 30 days of booking, when you only discover the problem months later after the hotel stay? Their terms make it impossible for customers to get what they were promised, and support just repeats the same scripted response without addressing the obvious flaw. This is misleading, unfair, and a terrible experience.

As a busy mom of 3, I love the ShopBack app! They have nearly all the retailers I already shop at. I've had the app for almost 2 months and have already made $36 dollars - with very little effort. They offer the best deals! My favorite is their Amazon cashback!

Use Shopback on every purchase I can. It's a great way to save money and being able to get this value deposited to a bank account is a perfect avenue for Xmas gifts.

Likely fake reviews and a scam. didn't track a single purchase from multiple websites.

The extension works most of the time but it signs itself out randomly so it's a hassle to sign back in. There were also instances were the shopback app showed a purchase was tracked but the cashback was denied. The extension will remove other promo codes that you apply unless you reapply them so that is the downside.

extension for shopee wasn't friendly, it used to be click one button for all the products, now i have individually click on the product and link to shopback one by one before checking it out from my cart...

I find its very easy to use and its worth it to installed the app on my desktop.

Good to use, but the window is toooooo big. Another issue is I click "activate" but it still shows red and ask to activate with amazon. I have to close the whole chrome and reopen to activate. Already disable ad-blocker for amazon.

Not all eligible purchases track, I'm unsure if I can even withdraw the funds I've supposedly accumulated, and they don't respond to inquiries. This is somewhere between a crapshoot and a scam.

Oh my, I was trying to accumulate, then I notice my withdrawable money is reduced, then I checked history, it says Due to account inactivity, your balance of XX have expired on XXX. Your reference id is XXX. For more information, please refer to our terms of use here https://www.shopback.com.au/terms-and-conditions. So if I do not spend on stuff, the money I earned can be taken out from them, what kind of dodgy policy is this, and also the product that has indicated it is tracked, never get any money back to me. And the big alert box can only be disabled for 24 hours. Everything they do has no ethics.

does not guarantee cashback will eventually be confirmed n paid out. even if it says tracked

Shopback gives good rebates and I have saved over $1K after using it often for the past few years.

Love Shopback I have only belonged for a short time but already have $200 in my account My biggest problem with it, is I forget to activate it. Once I remember I am sure it will be amazing - which by the way I already think it is

So far, I'm at $715 in cashback. Amazing app, specially if you can wait until Wen=dnesdays and use your Westpac Card, you get bonus cashback. Very Happy!

Good extension overall but unusable if you watch Disney Plus as it pops up with a non-removable tag that blocks part of the picture

Love the concept of ShopBack & had zero issues until the most recent update. It locks a pop up on the screen for every website that they offer their service on, in the past this was able to be disabled. The only option is to turn off the extension which defeats the purpose of using their service entirely.

Amazing for years and helped with tons of savings but a recent update now locks a popup overlay on the screen for almost every website - e.g. DisneyPlus and somehow I can't get rid of it. So, I need to deactivate it otherwise I'm watching a show with ShopBack tab right on it. Genuinely ridiculous.

The new release with the popup on the right hand side is not able to be exited and will continue to appear and take up valuable screen space. I'll be disabling the extension until it's removed, or will probably end up closing my account.

They upgraded this plugin/extension recently. Now we cannot close this popup on right side. Its always there. Thus when a webpage like Lazada is printed on the Lazada Seller Center, it appears on the print out. Thus is horrible update. Customers/Users should be given button to close this popup entirely to avoid intruding the screen space. Terrible that its been forced to appear and it comes out even in the printouts. We are uninstalling this plugin!

I thoroughly enjoy the Cashback rewards. I can see the savings I have made so far, and will continue to use it. Thank you.
