Zap! terminates the current tab, replacing it with the "Aw, Snap!" page.
This frees up memory, processor, and network resources without closing the page or changing it's history, current URL, or even tab title. A simple reload revives the page. If you find yourself in the task manager killing tabs a lot, Zap! provides a quick and easy shortcut.
Also very useful for developers who are sometimes faced with runaway pages bogging down their computers, and for anyone who wants to reduce distractions during work yet quickly recall them during breaks.

Sometimes multiple tabs are run inside the same process, so zapping a tab *may* kill other tabs too. Just reload the tabs you want to keep using.
