View price changes on properties listed on Rightmove.

Image from store Property Log
Description from store By using the Property Log Google Chrome Extension you're able to see a list of historic price changes for properties listed on the Rightmove website. Thousands of properties are reduced in price every single day on Rightmove, we track these changes so other users can see the historical prices. Use the extension to your advantage when buying or selling a property. Historic price change information can show the current state of the housing market in the property's area and can be used to your benefit when putting in an offer. Please note: Heavy users of the extension will be asked to subscribe to the service after 6 weeks of use. We have a very generous free usage allowance meaning that for the majority of users the service is free. If the system identifies you as a heavy user then the subscription is just £2.99 a month and you can cancel at anytime.

  • (2023-09-28) Stephen Thomson (StephenT): New Issue lately, this extension is hiding the "Request Details" bit under the estate agent info on Rightmove listings, having to switch it off in order to request home report needs resolved as it should not be restricting rightmove elements
  • (2023-09-20) Stephen: yeah not paying that much
  • (2023-09-05) Scott F: Rubbish as it starts charging you to use it
  • (2023-08-29) Matt H: Was great but now charging a premium for the info.
  • (2023-08-19) Alexander: Subscription fee...
  • (2023-08-10) Igor Popov: no longer works without paid subscription, switched to alternative extension

  • (2023-07-26) Emmanouil Markou: Very clever and useful
  • (2023-07-04) Mark Jones: Very useful and clever add-in. It sometimes produces triple the info, but a refresh solves. Hopefull new versions will improve on good idea.
  • (2023-06-29) jamiecharmer: When it works it is very useful but some days it would not work so had to use another.
  • (2023-05-29) M P: Was good before. Now its a £2.99 subscription. Use another free alternative instead of this
  • (2023-04-20) Neelima Janardhanan: Worked
  • (2023-03-02) SSH: not working
  • (2023-03-01) Andrea Thompson: Doesnt appear to work
  • (2023-02-27) Richard Jones: Was good. Now a subscription.
  • (2023-02-26) iG User: Was useful until it blurred everything. Why pay £2 a month when there are alternatives that are free? Very greedy.
  • (2023-02-20) Deep Shah: This is a very useful extension, however, it has been updated to include an ad for PropertyData right under the price history which is extremely unuseful, a waste of space and an eyesore.
  • (2023-02-05) Daniel G.: Doesn't work anymore
  • (2022-08-10) David Egginton: It will work for a bit and then blur anything remotely useful and ask for money.
  • (2022-06-08) Sam Wood: Worked great and now it wants me to subscribe for £2.99 a month. Disgusting behaviour and should be removed.
  • (2022-05-25) Liam Haywood: Its a good little add-on to see the price change but nothing more but now the prices are blurred unless you pay £2.99 a month. It was nice to have it but I didnt crave it when I didnt and I wont miss it now ive uninstalled it.
  • (2022-05-17) Harry: Not worth £2/month when there are other free alternatives.
  • (2022-01-07) Claire: Brilliant extension and worth paying for imo as it is a really useful tool when buying a property.
  • (2022-01-01) Kieran D: Usually a 5* tool but isn't showing price history anymore. RM may have finally outsmarted it because the affected listings clearly state 'reduced'. Suggest to me that this isn't a case of an agent evading the tool by removing, reducing and relisting. If the team could rectify the issue I'd gladly amend my rating.
  • (2021-11-19) Valerie Freedom: Cool stuff, I appreciate it.
  • (2021-11-10) Peter P: Was nice when free, but behind a paywall now. So I've moved over to PropertyTracker instead.
  • (2021-11-02) Matt Taylor: No longer free :( Get PropertyTracker as a better free option. Has all the same price history data in my experience.
  • (2021-10-27) Chris O'Hare: Love this, but it's now not working. The older prices have been blurred out
  • (2021-10-17) Ruxanda Profir: It worked well, until they decided to charge for the pricing history.
  • (2021-08-16) S Smith: now required subscription fees to access any price data
  • (2021-07-06) Mike: Was a useful little tool, but now need to pay for it to work?
  • (2021-06-27) Ruben C: The plugin is absolutely great, maybe too great. I've been noticing lately that properties I was tracking (and of which I have the old ad saved) are relisted on the sites like RM and the tracker is unable to keep track of it. Looks like it's flawed as it only follows an id on the URL and State Agents are learning to cope with this by removing the whole ad and relisting it with a different id. I've seen a few already, just in the last week 2 different properties in the same area that have been relisted in this way: result? no track history. One of the properties has been on sale for over a year with no luck, they now relisted 50k above the asking price it had last week, clearly aiming to "reduce" the price in a couple weeks and pretend it's a "new opportunity" to unaware buyers. I think they could try to save the photos, at least the main one. Real State agents don't seem to be interested on taking new photos for each listing so you could find a "relist" by comparing them. Though this may become too expensive. Best thing to do is your own personal tracking if you are interested in an area or group of properties, save the ad and possibly keep manual track of it. If you are aiming for something too wide though, you may need to pay someone to do this for you ;)
  • (2021-06-14) Gary Ratcliffe: Started asking for payment to see blurred out prices
  • (2021-06-08) James Keeling: Suddenly started hiding information behind a subscription, that isn't mentioned at all when installing the extension.
  • (2021-05-11) Dave Liddle: No longer free :-(
  • (2021-04-10) Stuart King: Was good but now its subscription charge will be deleting.
  • (2021-04-10) Liam Field: Cute gimmick, but £24/year? No thanks.
  • (2021-04-05) Cathryn Worrell: I love this extension but today it doesn't seem to be showing the previous prices, just that the prices have changed. I hope this is just a blip.
  • (2021-03-19) Fernando Martin: Key if you are about to buy a house. Don't know how many thousands of pounds it saved us and made way easier the negotiation knowing where they sellers stands by looking at the price drops and times.
  • (2021-03-06) Victoria B: Great extension, super helpful, love it! I do have one question though - what's the difference between initial prices listed in blue versus yellow?
  • (2021-03-04) Sandra N: Absolutely brilliant!
  • (2021-02-25) Salvador Eslava: It was great but today it is not working? Is it only to me?
  • (2021-02-14) Mohsin Ravjani: Fab tool - thank you
  • (2021-01-07) Andrew: Really cool.
  • (2020-12-18) Russell: Great so far! Will continue to use
  • (2020-12-04) Can Esenbel: Really useful. Thanks.
