NetBeans IDE features a complete set of development tools for JavaScript and HTML5, including code editing, debugging, live styling, development with iOS and Android devices, and more. The NetBeans Connector for Chrome facilitates the tight integration between the two.

With this integration, comes the ability to:
* Refresh on Save
* Live DOM navigation from within the IDE itself
* Bi-directional element inspection. Click in the browser, see it in the IDE, and vice-versa
* JavaScript debugging of the application using Remote WebKit APIs
* Visual CSS Style editing of all page elements, including JavaScript generated elements
* Screen resizing to view your application at various pre-defined sizes (Smartphone, Tablet, etc.), or sizes that you can define yourself
* Network monitoring for web services and Web Socket traffic

Or when after several attempts the error disappears, and the "Netbeans Connector started debugging this browser" message appears, no NetBeans icon in the address bar. Error in NetBeans itself (something "failed" in status. Guess this will be the end for this extension, and probably Netbeans in general, for me. Same error every time from both environments. Browser refused to debug this tab. Two completely different operating systems. Installed clean on both pcs a few days ago. Same error.

When I click run on the netbeans (with connector) toolbar it opens chrome with an odd page: ******/AppData/Local/Temp/blank4572890951369620544.html When I click run in chrome (without the connector) it opens the page correctly as http://localhost:8383/HTML5Demo/index.html

Marcus Nätteldal 2018-09-27: Get an error since chrome was updated to a v. 69. "Close Chrome Developer Tools (or any other browser debugger) and try again." I downgraded chrome to v.68 and it works.

Avinash Kumar Routh 2018-07-01: Could be a great extension. Unfortunately you have to reinstall it each time you restart Netbeans or Chrome, making it almost unusable. I hope this bug is fixed soon so that we really use this.
