  • (2025-07-03) Kiryl Mazhai: stopped scrobbling from Spotify on desktop, please fix this!
  • (2025-06-25) Mutiara Puteri: it won't scrobble from spotify!! it has been going for more than a week, come on
  • (2025-06-17) Vince D: EDIT: For many years, after every update, this scrobbler would reset to scrobbling EVERYTHING on YouTube. WHY would a MUSIC scrobbler default to scrobbling every youtube video played. I had to stop scrobbling from youtube years ago, and never updated this review. The default should be to ONLY scrobble music. ORIGINAL: The best scrobbler out there. It scrobbles from so many different sites, and it's even been improved from time to time. Sometimes you have to refresh your browser and/or reload it, but for the price of free I have zero complaints.
  • (2025-06-16) Никита Самсонов: stopped scrobbling anything from spotify, don't know about other platforms though
  • (2025-06-14) Prescilla C.: It was perfect then it has stopped working as of June 13, 2025.
  • (2025-05-25) Ivan Anisimov: Best one.
  • (2025-04-22) Jos: Bless this scrobbler. #LYF
  • (2025-03-29) Noble Eshun: GOATED WOULDNT USE ANYTHING ELSE
  • (2025-02-22) Milovan Filipovic: It works like a charm. Thank you so much for this. (January 26, 2017). Edit: Well, the extension functioned effectively in the past; however, it is currently plagued by numerous issues. It has become increasingly unreliable, as it intermittently removes ID3 tags that I have entered multiple times, and when I attempt to delete an incorrect tag, the cursor often jumps unexpectedly. I have frequently experienced instances where the extension freezes, preventing me from making any changes. It appears that the developers are indifferent to these ongoing bugs. Additionally, I have observed that the extension occasionally fails to track songs that are only 30 seconds long. The extension typically requires several seconds to search for and accept changes to ID3 tags; however, this functionality occurs infrequently. Previously, the extension could automatically search for and correct inconsistent tags by simply removing them; however, this is no longer true following these recent updates. Moreover, the support tickets submitted on GitHub have remained unanswered for several weeks, and there seems to be a lack of moderators or developers available to review and address these issues. Reporting problems appears futile without timely responses. In summary, the overall experience has been disappointing. The current state of the development team, community members, and the website itself leaves much to be desired. A change in ownership may be necessary, or it would be prudent to reach out to CBS regarding these concerns, urging them to replace the ineffective moderators with competent individuals who can address the issues and eliminate disruptive users. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences with a website and extension to date!

  • (2025-02-12) Bruno Credidio: Works very well. Bad reviews are given by people who don't know how to use it.
  • (2025-01-28) Nicolas D: This is the extension I needed !
  • (2025-01-14) A. M.: Music.Youtube: This website is turned off. The extension won't scrobble music from this website until you turn it on in the extension options. It's enabled in the settings, no change. What's wrong?
  • (2025-01-07) Alisa Jefimova: It's great, but it broke in September for me :( Doesn't scrobble from Spotify Web no matter what I try to do. I made a github report to no avail.
  • (2024-12-25) Alex Robinsky: A very decent scrobbler that covers Youtube, Spotify, and even Yandex Music. It can guess albums, and automatically removes "Remastered" from song names. It also allows to edit scrobbles manually. What it could do better is to have more options. For example, to remove parts like "Deluxe", "Official HD music video", etc. from song names. If I could just add those to some kind of black list, it would be perfect. Another feature to add is an option to scrobble only the main album artist, when Spotify specifies 2-3-4 artists for a song, separated by a comma.
  • (2024-12-02) XeroBeat: I've used this extension for years across a ton of different browsers and it has worked perfectly for me every time. Unless you're a FOMO scrobble goblin that needs to log every single melodic sequence that graces your eardrums, this passes the test with flying colours.
  • (2024-12-01) Ambrose: it keeps scrobbling non-music videos
  • (2024-11-22) Nerjal: Extension is great but it suddenly stopped recognizing Soma FM. Is there anything that can be done?
  • (2024-11-20) Filip: Atrocious! This extension randomly "loves" tracks without my knowledge. It has been doing it constantly since February, and it irks me. Edit: 9/9/2024. Today I tried to track my listening activity, but the extension refused to load. I clicked the icon 60 times to make it work; however, it stuck and refused to open a pop-up window to edit ID3 tags. This is the worst thing I've ever experienced. If you know of an alternative to this malware, please let me know in the comments. Edit: 20/11/2024. Another issue I encountered with this lousy extension was its tendency to split tracks containing a hyphen, colon, or slash (/), resulting in separate artists and incorrect titles. I must name each artist I track manually. Horrible! I have never used such a harvesting extension in my life! The programmer who deployed this is an idiot who should be punched in the head for this!
  • (2024-11-09) Eren Kozan: It either scrobbles every single video you play or you have to disable the auto scrobble and so you'll have to write the names of everything you scrobble one by one by yourself. The latter is also buggy, from time to time even though you did nothing wrong, it just wouldn't scrobble.
  • (2024-11-07) Eli Johnson: This has always worked for me
  • (2024-11-05) aw naw: damn good. makes my last.fm feels alive. need them to add features to scrobble embedded videos too.
  • (2024-11-02) Paul Yeoman: Has always worked very well for me. Simple to set up, nice options. NB - In Nov 2024, I found that Chrome had uninstalled this extension by itself (I certainly didn't do it!). I had to search for it and re-install!
  • (2024-10-23) Chris Hiroaki: Cannot sign in to last.fm, useless.
  • (2024-09-18) Ray Panjaitan: Can you please not scrobble a podcast that I watch?
  • (2024-08-30) Mirek Adámek: If I skip a part of the song, the scrobble pauses and I have to pause it and turn it back on. I would like it if there was an option to turn off the Web Scrobbler text under the video title on YouTube.

  • (2024-08-17) Dingo Manifold: super good extension when it works but omg its SO buggy for me like it literally never works anymore
  • (2024-07-30) — 爱: really buggy but works 70% of the time
  • (2024-07-25) Shadowws Shadoww: it works, but the browser performance impact is 50% tested with https://browserbench.org/Speedometer3.0/
  • (2024-07-05) Karo Linka: It worked great for about 5 hours, then stopped scrobbling and couldn't get it to work again.
  • (2024-07-01) Jhoan: Extensions are meant to make our lives easier. I shouldn't have to manually edit every single song that has horrible metadata. Examples? STAYC and KISS OF LIFE on YouTube Music. There's no reason I need to learn regex for this.
  • (2024-06-29) Jordan Steinke: Web Scrobbler is a great tool for monitoring music listening habits. I’ve been using it for about a year with no problems. It uploads my music listening history to Last FM and ListenBrainz. The utility works very well.
  • (2024-06-27) joey peeps: what an actual dogshit extension, nothing but Service error I haven't come across an extension this useless in a while man :sob
  • (2024-06-02) Jérôme Beaudoin: Been loving this extension to scrobble from Bandcamp!
  • (2024-05-28) michael chalk: Thanks for all your hard work on this scrobbler.. great to have one that works; also really appreciate that you keep it updated. (Edit: 7 years later, i'm still giving this one 5 stars. i tried a few options on my way here. Super impressed that you keep on fixing when things glitch, much appreciated 😺) mc

  • (2024-05-18) Deitrich Armante Lowrance: My previous issue with this app was that it didn't allow selective scrobbling to account for music on Youtube that gets missed. The devs solution to this is basically a button that turns on "scrobble everything" mode, which can only be turned off if you close the tab. Not exactly ideal. On the other hand, some of attempts at reading metadata are baffling (ie: ignoring dashes or including (official music video) in the title.) This wouldn't be a big deal if not for the autolocking when the song is scrobbled, not giving one a chance whatsoever at correcting the incorrect title. This is compounded by the lagging the extension seems to experience and the fact that pausing the video seems to cause the currently scrobbled song to disappear.
  • (2024-04-30) Algirdas Varnagiris: I don't know how bad are other people at using software, but for me this works perfectly. I have a feeling others aren't checking the settings of the extension to enable/disable features.
  • (2024-03-25) Rubén García: Amazing extension, but lately is not working with Youtube Music, Although is fine in video Youtube.
  • (2024-03-21) A H: I use it with Google Play and it's never given me a single issue. Scrobbles perfectly, everytime.
  • (2024-02-01) David Thai: Great extension. Have used it for years. Just installed on a new laptop and it still works.
  • (2024-01-24) It got disconnected from my last.fm account. The new UI don't do nothing when I try to sign in again.

  • (2023-12-27) britney “bitch” spears: The Youtube scrobbler now automatically inputs the channel name instead of the artist name which it did not do for the past 3 years I've been using this extension. Any help?
  • (2023-12-11) Maxime Péloquin: Great extension, but now adds a text on all youtube videos. I don't need this, and I can't disable it. Anoying, disabling until option is added to hide the text "This site is supported for scrobbling"
  • (2023-12-09) Marius: Good to have!
