• (2023-10-20) Ashley Haney: It works incredibly well, although I'm only giving it 4-stars instead of 5 because of how the golden cookie auto-click function reacts to cookie storm, which treats each golden cookie like a normal one and completely ruins your progress by generating an absolute ungodly amount of cookies.. I understand it might be out of their control, perhaps, and if so, maybe add a feature that automatically disables the golden cookie auto-click when a cookie storm starts and re-enable it after the storm finishes?

I got the glitch where you get infinite cookies from the cookie storm that never ended. I had to disable the extension and ascend in game in order to get it to stop. In an hour after ascending, I already own 700 of everything. I was able to buy everything easily.

• (2023-06-16) harlum shake: Completely game breaking, if it's set to auto-click golden cookies and you get cookie storm then your game is ruined; it treats every cookie in the storm as if it were a natural golden cookie, so you quickly ramp up every golden cookie effect and they stack. I was playing it a normal speed.

• (2023-03-07) J. Salmonson (darkocean): Watch out! Causes a horrible bug creating a cookie storm from hell that completely locks up the cookie clicker tab. If you do use this don't checkmark auto click golden cookies, + speed up the game past 6 as that will give you the game breaking bug. Still, it's nice for speeding up the game to get wrinklers faster (x20), good auto clicker (move mouse arrow on the big cookie) and is nice to auto buy buildings and upgrades. Make the tab into a separate window and click golden cookies easily, that's your best bet until this bug gets fixed. When not watching the tab I don't have it past x2. Please fix this bug, thank you. Update: Cookie clicker has updated we got new stuff! New buildings, achevements and more that haven't found yet, so please update this extention so everything works.

I actually beat the entire game with full achievements in only a day and reached a point where I made "Infinite Cookies" The problem is what came immediately after, I was not able to reset back to a default state of the game, even after deleting the extension, deleting the save file, deleting mod data, and clearing the cache and site data in my browser. The game was completely stuck at infinite cookies and even though resetting did clear all the buildings and cookie production, it would not change from that point. I was stuck with an infinite number of cookies and can no longer play the game as intended.

  The extension works wonderful, thank you! But there is a problem with cookie storm: seems like the game freaks out when there is almost zero delay between each storm cookie appearing and clicking on it, it interprets it like clicks on a x7 and/or x777 cookie and they even stack up to 5-8 times, resulting in immense cookie generation. I was thinking, maybe a configurable delay (in ms or seconds) for auto-clicking (and notification) on a golden cookie would help with cookie storms? I'm seeing a possible solution as "on a golden cookie autoclick or notification, start a [user configurable] milliseconds timer and ignore all golden cookies that appear until the timer runs down". This would help also with golden cookie notifications during Cookie Storms which make a lot of system notification popups with zero delay and Windows freaks out, have to close Chrome and clear them. It would be really great to have some option like that. Thanks in advance!

  The clicker needs to have https:// added to the permitted versions of the website to interact with. By default the game's website sends you to the https:// version, so this extension won't work, because it doesn't have permission. If you change the address in the address bar manually to http:// then it will work again.

  Ok I'm not the dev so don't tell me off if this gets complicated. First read up on how to make this extension work unpackaged. Specifically: https://superuser.com/a/936424 Follow the instructions there. In addition to those, crawl thru the files of the extension and each occurrence of http://orteil.dashnet.org/cookieclicker/beta should be changed to https://orteil.dashnet.org/cookieclicker/ -- there should be 2 or 3 in total. On top of that change the manifest's permission block to be: "permissions": [ "tabs", "storage", "notifications", "http://*/*", "https://*/*" ] That should make it work. ps I don't read this page, I'm not the dev so if you get stuck, experiment rather than msging me.
