The extension fetches price data every 10 seconds using their API - https://api.gdax.com/products/<coin-market>/trades?limit=1
Code for the extension almost identical to https://github.com/ganeshkamathp/Binance-Alerts-Extension
This extension was solely written to track the price and not to trade. I will not be responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever caused due to the usage of this extension.

Would like to see support for alerts when the price is te set alert price and not for when it's above
