• (2021-03-02) Guido Makor: First I thought it didn't work. However, Chromecast only supports certain media formats. So, when you understand that, it's actually pretty good. Why only 4 stars then? Well, sometimes the video plays, but there's no audio. although the audio does work when the file is played in a media player on the desktop. I haven't found a workaround for that yet...

This would allow for me to have a Google Drive directory full of my favorite live streams that I could just click and stream. I'd be glad to help develop this if needed.

  I am trying to cast a URL to My ChromeCast however I get a message saying I am not using the correct format or it just says it is being loaded but ,apart from the Cast Icon , nothing appears on my TV screen. Also, if this would work, would I then be able to close Chrome and shut down my PC while my TV would still show the website / url. Because that is what I actually would like to achieve.
