Finds videos in the web page you're on and allows to send them to Chromecast.
WebCast extension detects video files in .mp4 format that are played on the page, and allow to send them to ChromeCast device.
Whenever extension detects supported video file being played on the page, it will add page action to your omibox that allows to play video on Chrome Cast device.
This version of plugin opens video file in external website, that has video player supporting ChromeCast.

Uses WAY TO MUCH CPU in the BACKGROUND. For WEEKS, I was wondering why my Mac was blowing hot air and fans full speed for no particular reason. I finally traced the source to this Chrome App that I have running on Microsoft Edge browser. It was using up to 50% of my CPU power causing the system to heat up. The app is useful for sure but what is this? It shouldn't run in the background (at all) or to the degree that it causes the laptop / PC to try to cool down so much. Disabled it for now, fans have slowed down.
Expected video casted to the SmartTV, does nothing.

Stopped working. Golang 1.9 not supported (seems the backend is down). Switched to Media Caster by Gino Côté.

just started this extension, but so far it seems like an awesome extension app. It seems like it might cast sites, that normally would not before. PRETTY GREAT SO FAR!!!!

Works well and is easy in use, Yet to find a website it doesn't work on. if I don't find it in the next week I'll update the 4 stars to 5 stars.
