So called "Semitones" were totally off Details: I have my guitar tuned to Standard D 440. And with literally no setting on the Semitone range of the plugin, i was able to match it to the guitar. Back to capturing and reliably pitch shift songs in my DAW again, i guess ...

The second part of the opinion will be about what is missing and should be found. And part of my opinion. I applaud the enlargement itself, its concept and idea. It is fine. I have a lot of fun with it and experiment with changing the pitch of the sound or the speed. It is extremely useful for music or movies. II part of my opinion. I believe there is a missing feature that extends the speed to which you can slow down a Youtube video. There is no support for speeds from 0.25 to 0.49 in Smooth and Semi-Tone modes. • (2020-03-29) Peter Potthoff: Great tool for musicians trying to learn a new tune. Play alomg with a YT video, and use this extension to match your guitar's pitch, rather than re-tune ! It would be great if an option to change the scale of pitch change was included to allow a more precise match, but after using it a while, you can get a very close match. Kudos to the developer !

  I am pretty savvy at music and instantly recognized this issue. Essentially if you change the mode to shift the pitch by semi-tone the extension only shifts the sound a little less then half a semi-tone. A semi-tone otherwise known as a half step is for example G to G#. A full tone or a step is G to A. This is only different when you go a half step from either E or B on any octave, in both cases, a half step higher is F and C for each note respectively.

  it is a very great tool to sync your newly found track with the one turning on your technics MK2... But the pitch range based on 100% is a bit too extreeme and personally It doesn't overpass 0.80 and 1.20 My suggestion is to have some parameters to switch between -100%/ +100% AND -8% /+8% AND -16% /+16% (same than turntables) That would make the use of Pitch shifter much more precise and much more Pro ;)
