Automate password access across the user lifecycle
* Automatically share passwords with employees based on attributes like role, location, and department using dynamic policies
* When HR hires a new employee, Rippling will automatically apply these policies and share the relevant passwords via Rpass

Store and share passwords securely
* Enable employees to safely share passwords directly from the Rpass software, which transfers them from client to client using secure enterprise-grade encrypted communication
* Customize permission policies to tightly control who can and cannot share passwords
* Passwords are stored in a zero-knowledge vault and will always stay private
Protect against phishing
* RPass will only fill passwords into the same website domain from which they were saved, protecting users from inadvertently entering passwords on a phishing site
* RPass will detect and prevent passwords from being filled on insecure HTTP sites

- I think it works pretty well, but tends to block the submit button on screens if it is active. I like it for password creation mostly.

- This review is based on a lack of features, not based on functionality. RPass DOES work as intended, but it cannot be called a password manager for a few reasons: - No passkey support - No desktop OR mobile app, so it can't be used outside of your web browser - Cannot store custom fields in records besides tags, name, username and password - Adding TOTP to an item requires manual setup, and can only be done *after* the password is created and saved - Limited configuration capabilities - Master Key is not truly random, but rather based on account information such as email and password. It's still not possible to derive it thanks to Rippling's security model, but it'd be better to use a truly random master key that is not based on anything the user has or knows in order. As well, it'd be better to require this Master Key to access a user's account & vaults. RPass's security model is sound, but I cannot call it a fully featured password manager. RPass is really no different than the password manager built into your browser. The benefit of using RPass is it's controlled by your employer. However, if you use Google Workspace, you can easily create managed Google profiles and require Chrome sign-in with those. Overall, I cannot see any benefit to using RPass. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because it *is* functional.

- I love that I can safely store all of my work passwords in one place that isn's saved on my computer. Working in PPI sensitive space, privacy is incredibly important.

- Sometimes the passwords that are selected seem like they're getting filled in from my Autofill and not from the RPass itself. Also, when you're trying to add a new password to RPass, the options for sharing are not given to you, so you have to create it, then go into it, and then you're able to share and set the permission level. That should all be in one step.

- RPass is great when your company uses Rippling for HR services. I like the concept of having personal vault and team vaults. This allows you to create teams to have specific login access and not clutter everyone's saved password space. The shortcut to open tab and fill login information comes in handy to save time as well. Overall a great solution for password management across the company.

- Overall I love using Rpass to manage my passwords and logins. I recommend installing this extension. It is the best password manager I've used so far out of 5-10 I've tried personally or through employer provided platforms. What I like about Rpass: super easy to use, intuitive user experience, triggers properly on most pages, handles 2FA well, easy to manage sharing and permissions with team, can have different vaults. What could be improved: sometimes the extension would not trigger on the login pages and I need to manually copy/paste my creds, on some websites (e.g. Looker) the 2FA window mistakes input fields as 2FA fields and keeps popping up in the website despite already being logged in, the password generate feature doesn't take website-specific password requirements into account. Disclosure: Rpass offered a small reward for me to write a review, however, what I wrote is entirely up to me and is a true/full representation of what my experience using Rpass so far.

- RPass does the bare basics of a password manager and nothing else. Importing from other password managers is painful and importing from 1Password doesn't seem to work at all. The extension seems to close itself randomly, and I have lost a new login several times because of this. Overall really frustrating to use and sometimes feels outright broken. I guess all the 5-star reviews are from people who haven't used a decent password manager before?

- Functional, but extremely annoying to use. Issues with multiple Salesforce orgs that RPass is unable to differentiate between, issues with both RPass and Google Password UI's overlapping one another, issues when trying to get around these other issues, because the RPass popup closes each time you try to copy a username/password (so when you're suffering from Issue #1 or Issue #2, Issue #3 then makes your life more annoying.) Overall, it's OK and does what is says on the tin, but wouldn't recommend for anyone to use it.

- With RPass, the passwords are just there. As soon as I was hired, the browser extension pre-filled everything I needed based on my role. It’s seamless. I rarely even see the actual passwords; I just click one button and I’m in. It saves me probably 10-15 minutes a day of frustration. Highly recommend it for any team that shares a lot of SaaS accounts.

- RPass makes storing all of my personal and company passwords super easy! It saves me every time I'm asked to enter in a password and can't remember my credentials. The extension intuitively fills in my saved passwords, making it a breeze to sign in. Without RPass, I would spend a ton of time resetting my passwords each week.

- I've found issues with using RPass from implementation to day-to-day use. The ability to generate a password is helpful and the Google extension being so accessible is nice however I'll explain the major reasons for the star rating. First, implementation was difficult as we encountered errors that weren't able to be explained by tech support. Second, when I need to copy both the username and password for a website, the extension closes after I click out of it which makes the process take longer. Third, the RPass interface in Rippling isn't easy to navigate. I wish, as a Super Admin the interface was built in a way sharing access to login credentials was the focus. Fourth, RPass doesn't always save your new password for an account, making logins inconsistent and incorrect. Fifth, setting up MFA codes is easy while sharing has been difficult. In general, to be 5 stars Rippling needs to invest in creating a better user interface for RPass within their HRIS, allow extension to stay open when copying username and password information and have implementation be easy to navigate when there are upload errors.

From an user standpoint, I never have to worry about getting access or forgetting the password. Makes it so simple for me to get into tools, the alternative is so time consuming and monotonous .

- I’ve found that Rippling’s RPass has been a great addition to the platform. It’s incredibly easy to use and takes the hassle out of managing all my different logins. I no longer have to remember multiple passwords and everything is in one place. When someone is hired or leaves, their access updates automatically, which saves me so much time. The interface is clean and simple, and the support team is always quick to help whenever questions come up. I also love that Rippling keeps rolling out new features that make my day-to-day work easier and less stressful.

- Honestly, not a bad password manager! I’ve been using Rippling’s Rpass to store and share passwords, as well as enable two-factor authentication. It’s easy to use, convenient, and makes saving credentials simple. I did run into a small issue where it didn’t scan a QR code, but Rippling’s support team was able to fix the problem within two weeks. Overall, I’m really happy with it!
