There is a bug when hitting Ctrl+Q to start or stop Visualizer that seems to disconnect YTMusic from the sound hardware, requiring a reload of the page to fix. This is fairly annoying when I just want to downvote a song or skip ahead in my playlist.

This NEEDS to be able to run on a separate window....I use a Web based DJ app and run this but it covers the Turn tables so that I cannot DJ.....with Butterchurn I click on the extension and it pops up on a separate window. Please add this ability!

Really good job by the developer. bug: Sometimes fails to re-enable audio when closing the visualizer, easily fixed by refreshing the page, but annoying, as i lose my place in the currently playing song.

• (2021-01-17) Dave Lapsley: Attempting to fix problems previously experienced, this is what seems to happen every time. (Reinstalled 5 different times so far.) Upon install, it works absolutely perfectly. Crystal. No complaints. For about 20 minutes, maybe 30. Despite music still playing, the visualizations just stop. At this point a manual scene selection will occasionally work, but it remains fixed. Otherwise, with all the settings the same, restarting the browser etc and restarting the visualizations is when the chopped lag renders the computer and the audio unusable. Uninstalling and reinstalling works and I'll have another 20 or 30 of perfect function again.

• (2020-11-26) Jason De Sante: Difficult to use on mac, can't rebind hotkeys (hotkey to start is same hotkey to close chrome on mac). Can't use with music on computer. So you can get a beautiful visualizer with bad sound quality, or good sound quality with no visualizer. I would much rather this program be able to listen to the OS' sound, because I'm not going to compromise sound quality just for nice visuals.

  Every other scene runs fine, only milkdrop runs average of 10 fps sometimes slowing down to about 4 FPS. I've cleared cache, freed storage, checked temperatures to make sure my cooling was doing its job, updated drivers etc... Have been using this plug-in for over a year now without any issue before this started earlier in the week.

  I'm using the paid ProjectM version on a Pixelbook, but it seems only the mic can be used as audio source. I have changed the settings for "Audio Mode" from "Auto" to "Audio Only" but it doesn't seem to pick up any audio when playing for example something on YouTube. I have checked the permissions of the app and it only lists "Use microphone" permissions, nothing else is listed or has been asked for by ProjectM. Am I missing something ? Thanks !

  Hellow, I really like this and seems smoother than the Butterchurn extention. But I use a DJ app and this covers the whole page....I need the visuals on a separate window like Butterchurn, so that I can dj with the DJ webapp, and run the Visualizer on a separate window so that I can drag it to an external monitor or Projector to display the visuals. This wold make this alot more useful even for professional work.

  I down load the app/extension and start it on an internet station that I like. The audio jumps and crackles and appears to time shift (erratic tempo). But wait! If I uninstall the program without 'Xing' out of the app it works beautiful. Of course the app goes away if I shut it off. I have several computers, Dell, H.P., ASUS. Windows 10/Chrome, different music stations/sources. All act the same. Got any idea?

  Hello, from what I could see, your extension is so so cool!!! Sadly whenever I start up the extension my music becomes very very laggy to the point that I cannot really listen to it. I have turned on FPS and it normally hits 3-16fps and 40 on a good few seconds. This might be a me issue though. Is this visualizer better for computers with better GPU? I think my laptop may be a quite a few years old. Super duper cool product still!!

  First of all, I love the visualizer; it looks amazing - THANK YOU!! Can you advise how do I import presets? I think I am doing it right but the steps that I take crashes the plugin; the imported preset does not display but more than that, the sound stops! I do this: 1) Click on Control > Share Scenes > Scene Sharing. 2) This takes me to http://audiovisualizer.net/. 3) Select a preset from there and click [Get scene] button. 4) Click [copy to clipboard] icon. 5) Go back to my browser tab and paste in Share scenes > Import scene > --> ImportInput. 6) Click on -->Import scene (I tried clicking on the text and on the white space to the right that looks like an empty text field but that now I think may be a button?). 7) I notice that scene appears labeled at the bottom in the Scene text field (with "_custom" appended). 8) I also notice the scene does not look right; it shows as a black blob in the middle of the screen ****ISSUE: When I select the new custom scene, there are two major issues: a) The scene does not display b) Audio cuts out and no way to bring it back but if I wait it out for a minute or so it sometimes comes back... Looks like there must be a different way to correctly import scenes? Thanks!

  The extension usually works perfectly fine; however, it seems that if I use the extension one day, then the next day the toggle fails on the website I used it on previously. For example, yesterday I was using the extension while listening to music on Youtube. I am now no longer able to get the visualizer to start on Youtube (any video), but I am able to use it elsewhere (even sites with no audio). Thanks for your help!
