С расширением теперь видео затеняется и есть надпись "WATCHED", хотя и браузер и интерфейс ютуба у меня на русском. Как я могу для себя отредактировать это расширение чтоб не было вообще никакого текста и осталось только затенение? Или хотя бы что можно сделать чтоб надпись была на русском?

I wish that that watched mark also applies to the video suggestions that is next to a watching video. I was annoyed by that and wished to find add-ons that can solve it. Still a great add-on! Hope that you can see this someday.

• (2021-12-18) Arpad Orfi: Works. Thanks. However, only works on the search results page. When a video is playing, the "watched" status is not overlayed on the video thumbnails on the right side of the screen.

On the Home screen it greys out the video but the "WATCHED" mark is missing. Seems to work on the Subscriptions screen.

Up until this point, I have not been able to find a still-functioning extension for Youtube after their last update over a month ago. & that new bar Youtube used to replace their old watched indicator was a barely-visible joke. Edit: As of July 2020, this no longer works if you have JustBlock Security app. Disabling JustBlock makes it work again. Edit: 2021, some people are having problems with just the PC or mobile or TV version of Youtube not adding anything to watched history. I was wondering if it would be possible to have the app check if you have liked or disliked a video & have it register as being watched based on that?

Хочется иметь возможность менять цвет прозрачность фона просмотренных видео, чтобы они еще больше выделялись. Также хочется как-то повлиять на внешний вид плашки "просмотрено", иметь возможность заменить слово "просмотрено" на "watched"? не меняя языка браузера.
• (2020-07-23) Вячеслав Вячеслав: Спасибо, нужная штуковина, особенно когда ютуб перестал почему то делать полную нижнюю красную полосу и делает только кусочек в начале, так что не понятно, просмотрено оно полностью или только открыто и закрыто, теперь удобнее наполнять лист воспроизведения "посмотреть позже" с многих каналов. В видео из под которого сюда ссылка была обещана ещё одна фишка для ютуб, типа плагин дописан, но на канале не нашёл больше ничего, ну кроме какого то видео на вражеском языке, и там не для ютуба. Проверил работу, работает на вкладках каналов "видео" и на боковой панели листа воспроизведения на странице где идёт видео, но не работает почему-то на странице канала вкладка "Плейлисты" - "посмотреть позже" список воспроизведения видео - если не сложно, можно сделать, чтобы и там работало?!

• (2020-02-29) Amago: I mostly works and I am very grateful for this mod, it makes things so much easier. But I have found an issue in the subscriptions tab on left on youtube. Several videos in there will never be tagged as watched even though I have watched them. Clearing cache etc doesn't make a difference either.

Только пришлось исправить style.css ибо для темный темы свелые затемнения неочень. hsla(0, 0%, 100%, 0.5) заменил на rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7) в тексте заменил font-size: 10px; color: #FF2525 ... hsl(0, 0%, 6.7%) на rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.6) Теперь с темной темой смотрится органично
