This extension is open-source, so feel free to use or edit it if you want.
With this extension, you'll get a darker themed SoundCloud for those who prefer it, either because it looks cooler or it goes easier on your eyes!
Feel more than free to contribute to it on GitHub, for bug corrections or even new ideas.

- woah such a weird coincidence - i was messing around with a repost hiding toggle for soundcloud on chromium and somewhere along the way, the UI went into the default (annoying) bright mode. i guess it wasn't me afterall but bummer that this issue came up. the repost toggle also doesn't work so maybe soundcloud introduced a breaking change here. it was great up till now tho!!

- yo I fricking love this thing, I've been using it for the past year and a half but you guys really need to fix the script for this because now google is adding this nonsense update to extentions, manifest migration V3 has been added and It's caused a major disruptance to a lot of those who use extensions on chrome or msft edge. Mutation Observers must be used as a replacement since mutation events e.g. DOMNodeRemoved are being removed which is really annoying. Here's the reference, of course: https://developer.chrome.com/docs/extensions/develop/migrate I literally moved to firefox because of this bs, I hope this DOES get resolved eventually, otherwise, good riddance lol If you guys - as the developers are looking to talk to me on this, I can definitely give some feedback or recommendations via email: [email protected] otherwise, wishing you the best luck on fixing this patch.

- Extension is no longer working due to manifest migration from V2 to V3. Manifest version needs to be updated to 3 along with some other changes resulting from Manifest V3. Reference: https://developer.chrome.com/docs/extensions/develop/migrate Also, mutation events like the DOMNodeRemoved used in background.js are being removed and Mutation Observers need to be used instead. Reference: https://developer.chrome.com/blog/mutation-events-deprecation This problem exists with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Extension still works with Mozilla Firefox.

- Used to work perfectly though am currently having issues as of the 29th July 2024 the extension no longer works - Soundcloud appears as normal with the extension activated and doesn't change anything about the appearance (May be to do with the fact I'm using Microsoft Edge)
