  • (2025-06-13) J H: Works as described!! But sometimes need to wait a few seconds after refresh or resizing window can help also.
  • (2025-05-28) Tarun Maganti: Goddammit. How does this work? Are you parsing the webpage to recreate the workout? If so, brilliant work.
  • (2025-01-15) Marta Wodzinska: Works ok, but a bit fiddly to operate. You have to open workout and press F5 (refresh the page), the Download button will appear then.
  • (2025-01-14) The Cloth: Yes, same here it use to work brilliantly but now there is no button to be seen. Needs an update?
  • (2024-12-06) Li Shiang Lim: Used to have a download button but it's disappeared. Have removed extension and reinstalled. logged in multiple times to Garmin Connect and cleared cache, hard reloaded. but still no download button
  • (2024-12-02) Dmitry Papusha: Just installed the extension. Cannot find any "Download" button anywhere in the Workouts: general and details page. Explain (screenshots are the best) how to use. P.S. Button appears after some delay. Also, might not appear if the browser window is too small
  • (2024-08-29) Balázs Ujvári: superb
  • (2024-08-20) Joost van Kempen: Repeats don't work on Fenix 6 devices (and probably earlier) as the export/import changes the workout repeats to skipping the last rest. This however is not supported on the Phenix 6 so when syncing the workout, it gives an error "skipping the last rest step is not allowed on the fenix 6" not allowing you to sync the workout. The solution is to replace the repeats on the target account and then re-sync the workout. It would be nice if this option would not be changed by the export / import scripts. Also the json file is not downloaded but copied to the clipboard meaning you need to create a file to copy the data to. Something less tech savvy users might not realise.
  • (2024-08-10) Caitlin Williams: I think I've worked out how to find the download button. You have to go into the custom workout you want and you will see "edit workout" and "send to device" in the top left. If you then hover over the menu on the left the download button appears to the right of "send to device"
  • (2024-07-28) Klaus Weber: Cool extension. Initially there was no "Download" button inside the page, but after next login the download button was there. Thanks!

  • (2024-06-28) Peter Oviatt (Sisyphusruns): Supposedly I have 1.1.4 but no option to download when I bring up workout. This would be pretty cool if it worked.
  • (2024-06-03) Nick Barnes: An excellent timesaving extension - I've been using for some months to export the same workouts between my wife's and my Garmin Connect accounts. Reported an issue to Filippo whereby (only) swim workouts weren't able to be downloaded following a Garmin update and he fixed the issue within a day

Now when I try to use it I have to download each workout individually instead of having the ability to download all my workouts I've made and have stored in my library in one go. Is it possible to get this feature back?

  • (2023-06-13) Edwin Yung: works perfectly. after installing the extension, just refresh the 'training' page on the Garmin Connect webpage. The Download button should appear to download the .json file. To import, login with the other user then click import, select the .json file you want to import. (you must have the extension on the computer your are importing from as well).

  • (2022-02-23) Sander Kaldenhoven: Great plugin. Was worried it might not work but it did (Feb-2022) work. It saved me a lot of work not having to create 90+ workouts manually for my wife who wanted the same workouts. Just exporting and importing.

  • (2021-08-04) Clayton Collins: It took a little bit to find where the option is to download, since I was looking on the Training > Workouts page, which lists the workouts you have saved in your Garmin account. But after clicking into the workout, to the right of the name, it says Edit Workout, Send to Device, and this extension adds another option/button that says Download.
