Get inspired with each new tab from Pera Museum’s permanent collections. Our new and free to download Google Chrome extension “Artworks from Pera Museum” is now available on Chrome web store. In this fun new extension, a random artwork will appear each time you launch a new tab. Over 70 artworks from the museum’s permanent collections which include Orientalist Painting, Kütahya Tiles and Ceramics and İstanbul Photography Collection.

The “Artworks from Pera Museum” extension features select artworks from the museum’s Orientalist Painting, Photograpy Collection and Kütahya Tiles and Ceramics collections. In each new tab, the extension displays sights and scenes from daily life in Istanbul through oil and watercolor paintings, illustrations, and engravings by prominent artists of the era.

The 70 works of art included in the extension both serve to give an idea of the rest of the collections and add a touch of art to the daily life of users. With the free Google Chrome extension, the museum brings its collection to web browsers for an enjoyable artistic experience that they can access anytime.
