This extension brings a small, persistent progress bar to the YouTube player, enhancing your viewing experience. You can customize the extension to adjust the bar's height and color on the options page.
The beauty of this feature lies in its adaptability ? it remains hidden until the default YouTube progress bar disappears, even in fullscreen mode!
The primary goal is to offer a constant visual cue of the player's progress status. If the bar appears too slim for your screen, head to the options page and tweak the height setting.
Exciting Features:
1. Keep track of the loaded percentage (buffered video progress).
2. Monitor the current position of the player.
3. Updates of these percentages every 2 seconds (adaptive).
4. Almost all features are fully customizable through the options page.
5. Compatible with the YouTube website and embedded YouTube players on any website.
6. Hides the permanent progress bar on live streams

- I like the options and simplicity. Found this after something changed on yt and this part of a bigger youtube ext I use stopped working. Bug report: (edited) previous bug report seems to be fixed now. If there's a better way to report bugs, can someone let me know?

- Very nicely made extension, I've modified it to update even faster(changed the fastest update limit to 50ms instead of 500ms) and no problem thus far.

- This is really helpful extension. I was looking for some extension similar to this and found this out. It also provides customisation options. Actually it is helpful in knowing how much of the video has completed and how much is remaining without moving mouse or pressing keys on keyboard. And this could be even more helpful if video's current time and total video length option was also there. For example on the extreme left videos current time can be shown and on the extreme right side video's total length can be shown. Both in small fonts. Is that possible to display?

- While watching live streaming, the edge of the red line is being stopping at the wrong position. I suggest that the red line shouldn't show or show as correct as correct status with a different color such as gray, while watching live streaming.

- thanks :3 works well :D 2023.01.13 I found a bug, if i change the color it actually disappears, and i need to double click reset, to see it again. seems to only work on default settings

- Can't live without this extension. I have been using this extension (and others like it) for years and sometimes I forget that it isn't a vanilla YouTube feature. Edit: Sometimes it stops working but if you uninstall it and reinstall it, it will usually start working again on a fresh install
