AutoCAD est un format de fichier créé par AutoDesk.
Autodesk est devenu surtout connu pour AutoCAD, mais développe désormais une large gamme de logiciels pour la conception, l'ingénierie et le divertissement, ainsi qu'une gamme de logiciels pour les consommateurs, notamment Sketchbook.
Les fichiers CAO permettent aux entreprises de visualiser le projet / la construction en 3D avant le début de la construction pour s'assurer qu'il n'y a aucun problème avec la conception. La plupart des logiciels 3D prennent en charge le format de fichier CAO car il est utilisé universellement par la plupart des entreprises.
Les logiciels 3D sont principalement utilisés par les entreprises d'architecture et d'électricité, car les ingénieurs de ces entreprises travaillent quotidiennement avec le dessin 3D. Avoir ce logiciel permet aux ingénieurs d'être portables car ils peuvent apporter leurs conceptions sans avoir à transporter des copies papier. Cela facilite également la détection des erreurs des plans 3D par rapport aux conceptions papier.

- Quick and easy extension to add to chrome to quickly view a DFX file. Does what it says on the tin. Would like a way to better view multiple files without having to scroll - maybe in a grid?

- It works for me, if I look under extensions for Chrome (the puzzle piece icon) and click dxf viewer. This extension opens and lets me choose a dxf file to view.

- Unclear if this extension is triggered or how to trigger it. Chrome still says it is not able to preview DXF and if I open it directly it displays the raw text.

- Opened file to remain active after loading a new different dxf. Closing dxf viewer and reopening it allow the new file to be viewed.
