Проширење Реадер Виев уклања неред са веб страница да би се побољшала њихова читљивост. Проширење користи Мозиллину библиотеку читљивости као механизам за пружање сличног искуства ономе што добијате ако сте у прегледачу Фирефок. Након инсталације, дугме се додаје на подручје Цхроме траке с алаткама или на адресну траку Опере.

Једним притиском на ово дугме отвара се тренутна страница у режиму „Реадер Виев“. Приметићете да ће боја дугмета бити промењена у наранџасту док сте у режиму приказа читача.

Кликом на ово наранџасто дугме или притиском на дугме за повратак у прегледачу затвара се режим „Реадер Виев“ и враћа се нормални режим приказивања. Будући да додатак користи АПИ историје, положај помицања странице и цијела сесија се обнављају када се режим „Читач прегледа“ прекине.
