• (2023-10-30) Jamouzz04: FOR ALL THOSE THAT CAN'T CREATE A NOTE!!!!!! I just figured out that you can only create the notes on pages that have been loaded AFTER you install the extension. So close and re-open the tab and it should work just fine. Btw great extension, super useful for keeping track of stuff when reading research papers

There are occasional bugs (the most recent being if a note is pinned and I try to resize the note it goes all wonky - the workaround is unpin, resize, then re-pin) but so far it's been pretty reliable for me.

Are there any plans for this feature? If this is coming anytime soon, this will become my new favorite note taking app for the web, and I would therefore be glad to give a 5/5 rating! :)

• (2023-06-16) Trent Wolodko: My hope was to be able to replace my incredibly crowded bookmarks with these notes. The ability to drop page specific notes is perfect and what's lacking in the Bookmarks system. I had assumed that once I left my notes with the extension that I'd be able to go back through the summary page and categorize/manage those notes and be able to revisit the links easily. After dropping a couple dozen notes, and checking the extension's "summary" page, I've first come to realize that there's no way to categorize or manage the notes at all, it's just a giant list of your active notes. This is WORSE than bookmarks because all one sees is a list of dozens of very unfriendly URLs with no associated note information. I noted the message regarding the "my atoms" integration, and assumed this would solve my problems, but no. While it does sync up and display the notes in my atoms, neither of the extensions appears to have any cross-function to hook the URL back in so I that when I'm viewing the note content, I can easily revisit the page it was created on. The bigger problem is that this extension doesn't fit the use case. Instead of having hundreds or thousands of bookmarks to manage, sort, filter... I'll wind up with hundreds or thousands of "notes" with even fewer sorting/managing options.

Тому що основна робота в браузері, і можна додавати стікер на любу робочу вкладку. Тому непомітити задачу або примітку не вийде! Користуватись зручно та легко. Розробникам велике дякую!

• (2023-05-04) Till Kleine-Möllhoff: the notes would be much more useful if the line spacing was smaller. Please add an option to reduce the white space between lines.
• (2023-04-20) Ty Buchanan: Not much good. The backspace to delete letters in text stopped working. You have to select using the mouse and cut. There is a really annoying bug. If you copy text from a web page and past it into a note you get the background color of the web page with no way of removing it even if you paste it into Notepad, copy, and paste again. Obviously, copy gets the html code and it is locked into the text in Note Anywhere. You cannot set it to put the same note up for html sub-pages of the main URL like, abcedefg.com.interestinginfo.html on site abcdefg.com. abcedefg.com.moreinterestinginfo.html on site abcdefg.com. Surely, this occurred to the coders who wrote the extension? Coders on too much coffee syndrome again. A problem I had was with QUORA. When I tried to sign in I got a popup saying to choose Google or Facebook as sign in. It would not work until I signed into Google on a separate tab. A problem with Note Anywhere occurred when I clicked on a Quora article to read. The sign in popup opened, but the note I wrote on quora.com indicating to sign in separately first did not appear. No smart replies please. If I could remember it I wouldn't need Note Anywhere.

• (2023-04-13) Nina Casillas: I really love being able to write notes on article while doing research, but this extension is super buggy. Sometimes my notes are deleted for no reason or won't load. It's really frustrating.

I would love a way to 'communicate' with it from a web page... I often develop single page websites where the URL does not change. Thus a way to send a "page" id via a meta tag or something.

• (2022-12-21) Elliot Melloy: Great extension, it takes notes exactly how I wanted, which is simple individual notes on the actual page not on the toolbar button, with no bloat. But the note overview section could use some improvement, because it only shows the URL and you have to load the URL to see the notes. When the page is no longer available or replaced with a redirect to another page, it then becomes impossible to see the notes.

• (2022-10-08) Brad Waddington: Great post-it app, best one I've found. Only problem - I can't type inside the post-it notes if the webpage I'm on has keyboard shortcuts. If I type the letter 'n' while in a post-it note on Wordpress, for example, it opens up the Wordpress notifications (rather than typing an 'n'). Very annoying problem

Check it out for sure, had to make a review after I came across it.

Whats missing to be the most super awesome note extension is for the note to understand where on the page it was added on the X axis in relation to whats on screen... for example, if my screen is 4000px wide and browser is fullscreen, the web page layout is 1000px wide and centered in the browser, when I add a note to the middle of the page and then make my browser window 1500px wide, the note is now located outside of the viewport to the right of the page layout. For those with issues adding note, make sure to refresh the page after installing the extension.

Add new note on this page, Add Note. Show Notes When I click to add a note, nothing happens. The more i click to add notes the more NOTHING HAPPENS. It would be nice go back a couple versions.
