Open your Documents using Microsoft Word.
Want to open Microsoft Word documents using your favorite desktop document editor? You can do so now after you install our software extension.
To begin using our software extension to open documents using office word, here are the steps you need to do.
Ensure you have microsoft word installed on your computer.
Install our software extension "Open in Microsoft Word"
Once you install our software, please refresh all your existing Chrome Tabs/close Chrome browser and restart Chrome browser.
Choose the document link you wish to open with microsoft word online via the right click context menu button. You should be able to see the option "Open in Microsoft Word" after you install our software and restarted the Chrome browser.
Its that simple, just use the right click context menu to choose ms word when you want to
open a document using Microsoft Word. You can edit your documents using word office as our software extension will download the word document file when you right click and try to open the docx file using our software.

- (2024-05-23) Michael Richards: It's pretty revealing when a years-old extension's developers still haven't even clearly articulated what the extension actually does. It's called "Open with Google Docs," but then also "open-with-word.freefinancetools.net," so... I'm pretty sure it's meant to either open Google Docs within Microsoft Word, or Microsoft Word .docx files within Google Docs, within some unspecified context? But discovering the most fundamental details -- exactly what, or when, or why, or how! -- shouldn't require an investigation by the user, trying to unravel the secrets hidden behind such extraordinarily vague language like some deeply uninteresting mystery. Who has the time, but also needs productivity tools? But hey, that's just me.
