  • (2025-07-11) Andie T: I would make this five stars if the extension had the following basic features, which Edge and others have: 1. The tab icons at the top should be able to be hidden. 2. The tabs should be able to be grouped by dragging and dropping one tab onto another to create a new group. 3. Tabs should be able to be added to a group by dragging and dropping to a closed group. 4. Tabs should be able to be dragged and dropped to be the last tab in a group. 5. When I drop a tab into a new group, the closed group next to it should not suddenly open!
  • (2025-07-02) Mark Kibble: This is helpful for the new Perplexity Comet Browser, since it doesn't include vertical tabs natively. I would prefer the option to somehow pin the sidebar to the left side (mirroring Edge), since the Comet Assistant gets pushed into the center of the page when both are active.
  • (2025-06-26) Steven Berry: I think it's a fantastic extension. Much needed in the world of tabs. I would like the ability to reduce the width of the pane itself, but I'm not sure if that's a chrome limitation or not. Seems to be only as small as around 380px.
  • (2025-06-23) Maximus Amazon: Some key functions is not minimum usable and also anti-chrome browser function patterns: 1. New tab add to group: this is important to me as I have many tabs (>30 in a window) to manage and most of the time I want to move the tab to a project collection; the feature doesn't list out all groups, which means often I have to do workarounds. 2. Close group: there is a difference between "close group" (close tabs but group stays in project), and "delete group" (like cleaning out the project). However the extension feature of "close group" is the same as "delete group", which is frightening because I almost lost a whole group of important project tabs. Pls fix these 2 most important features above and I would love to come back and re-try again. I do love your UI and cleanness of the extension! :)
  • (2025-06-13) Vladyslav Tsap: top! works as best as it can in chrome!
  • (2025-04-25) Senthil Kumar: Vertical tabs extension - Horizontal & Side bar - limitations - Not able to resize side bar , So it occupies major portion of display , that's too much for 24'' display. Cannot hide Horizontal bar . Though these are mentioned , I gave it a try but looks clumsy
  • (2025-04-10) Victor Mongi: How to hide the main tabs? thank you
  • (2025-04-03) Tom: Okay, they added vertical tabs, but there are no favorite tabs, and the regular tabs are still there too. It feels half-baked.
  • (2025-03-08) Mohamad Yahia: Minimal vertical tabs extension (doesn't have any options unlike VertiTab for example) Works great and doesn't have any bugs though. Not my cup of tea as I like to customize more but giving it 5 stars for the great implementation. Thank you!
  • (2025-03-07) Zachary Pratt (August): Vertical Tabs revolutionizes Chrome's browsing experience by transforming cluttered horizontal tabs into a clean, side-oriented list that maintains readability regardless of quantity. With intuitive grouping capabilities and streamlined keyboard shortcuts, this extension elevates productivity for developers and researchers who routinely juggle multiple projects, making it an essential tool for serious multitaskers.
  • (2025-02-26) Kite: This just works. Even support tab groups.
  • (2025-02-19) singaiah mandalapu: i was expecting it to have it like edge and when i came here i expected it will be like edge where it always showed up and it makes my screen smaller when i activate it so i know that you will not agree with me but it's just bad 📛
  • (2025-01-23) Amy Litz: I have relied on vertical tabs for years and was sad to see it leave windows. This is almost a great replacement. I will use it but it needs to be adjustable (width) and it would look better and more integrated if it was tabs. It should also replace the horizontal tabs. We don't need both. So---change the look, and make them adjustable.
  • (2025-01-22) Alexandre BRIANCEAU: Great, simple, efficient.
  • (2025-01-09) vycdev: This is the best implementation that I've seen so far.
  • (2024-12-24) Bhawesh Agrawal: Pros: 1: integrated inside same chrome window same like tree style view in Firefox. Cons: 1: we can not reduce width, lots of space is blocked because of this. 2: no tree style view
  • (2024-11-28) Saransh Gour: awesome extension, really great with search functionality
  • (2024-11-27) Eric Reeves: Excellent extension. Been looking for this for a while... Any chance there is a way to change the background color? I'm happy to edit JSON files if need be.
  • (2024-11-25) Harish Perumalla: Awesome!
  • (2024-11-21) Sourabh Kumar Rajak: So with the extension we have both the view of the tabs, horizontal as well as vertical and that too with this wide view, the webpage view is getting reduced .
  • (2024-10-31) Sylvain Trudel-DS: Way too large ! Should be able to reduce the list to icons.
  • (2024-10-23) Doris Mae Lanticse: vertical tab is too wide
  • (2024-10-20) David: Seems to work
  • (2024-10-15) Osman H: the best vertical tabs extension, ive tried the others. Mimics arc browser very well
  • (2024-10-02) Shaun P: Nice work! No complaints so far. Functions well. The only thing I might want is to be able to half the amount of padding used in the tab cells (I'm using it on a desktop with a mouse). I tried enabling Compact view, but that eliminates the domain/url which I'd like to keep. Another thing to add might be a Reopen Closed Tab entry on the hamburger menu on the search line, or add a context menu for it when right-clicking on the plus (+) at the bottom of the vertical tab list. Sometimes that is handy when you are driving with a mouse and want to avoid having to move to the keyboard to press Ctrl-Shift-T.
  • (2024-10-01) Robert Yourell: Fabulous, a dream come true. BUT, it's way too wide on my monitor. Out of 20 inches, it takes up 5 1/4. I'd love to be able to have it about half as wide BECAUSE I could easily tell what the tab was about at that width—And I wouldn't have to horizontal scroll then. Please consider allowing that. I see you can drag the width, but it's a hard stop once it hits that minimum width you(?) set (I'm assuming it's under your control). I guess a "make do" is to only open the panel when needed, but I really prefer to spontaneously look at the tabs while working, so it would be best to leave the panel open all the time.
  • (2024-09-25) A K: Lol, but it's just a new window now duplicating the tabs up top. What's the point? Why would I need to have this in two places? Specific implementation of tabs on the side is great, but I don't understand what problem it solves if I can't hide the top bar.
  • (2024-09-25) Abel Wenning: Simple, elegant, reliable, exactly what I need and expected. Thank you!
  • (2024-09-20) alex: Niceee! But for some reason theme switching doesn't work. Chrome is set to the Light theme, but the extensions is still dark
  • (2024-09-18) Yelena Shabanova: Nice extension. Allows tab search, allows dragging tabs around. Negative: after tab is deleted scrolls to the bottom of current group. When there is lots of tabs in the group that forces to constantly scroll back near the deletion. It would be reasonable to keep the position in the list so the selection moves to the tab below deletion.
  • (2024-09-18) Bryan Bland: it is nice to have the vertical tabs, but not being able to hide the top ones is not great. i don't want to have them at the top or bottom. A limitation that Edge solves.
  • (2024-09-12) Susanna Law: This is such a good idea when I have more than 20 tabs. Love it! I know that we could change the position of the list in the top right menu but I want the tablet list on the left for my left monitor and on the right for my right monitor, so that I could keep the webpage in the middle. If we could do that that would be awesome! But anyway, this is such a good work, and I cannot live without it now.
  • (2024-09-10) James Hawkins: Love this project! But could you please add a feature that move the tab list to the left of window?
  • (2024-09-03) Praveen Kumar: Good One, thanks. But the tabs appear on top and vertically, in both locations. How do we hide the tabs at the top of the browser window?
  • (2024-08-31) Erik Chad: easy and good design
  • (2024-08-30) Omotoyosi Taiwo: Very nice, exactly like edges vertical tab functionality
  • (2024-08-24) Omar Essam: Great extension! Exactly what I was looking for, but can you please add a shortcut to focus the search field?
  • (2024-08-20) Prashant Dongre: Super go for it.
  • (2024-08-15) Lance Lebanoff: The only extension that comes close to Microsoft Edge's vertical tabs
  • (2024-08-15) Krittin Pukavanutch: Polished, everything working as expected and support tab group feature fine, to the level could even be part of chrome default.
  • (2024-08-14) Roma Vus: I like the extention but the Alt+B shortcut doesnot work for me I tried to change it in settings but it still does not work.
  • (2024-08-05) Logan: Thanks. Not your fault about the side panel size, blame Chrome for now until they add more size options. Works great! I would love an option to export the tab list and import a tab list if you get a chance. Great extension!
  • (2024-08-02) Christopher Smith (christopher_robot): TOO WIDE. WHEN EVERYONE COMPLAINS ABOUT THE SAME THING, IT MIGHT BE WISE TO FIX IT, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S SIMPLE.
  • (2024-07-24) El Pingüino Frio: I tried it, and it’s definitely worse than even the default feature in brave. So, I guess it’s better than nothing, but it’s beyond my comprehension why developers set the minimum width limit so big. This feature is most useful on small displays when screen real estate is limited. Vora takes up about 30% of my second screen.
  • (2024-07-22) Krishna Kaasyap: Unable to make the sidebar smaller. Except that, everything is awesome.
  • (2024-07-17) Artur Potyrała: Great extension, I really like your execution of it. Would it be possible to select multiple tabs to add them all to a group? - hold shift and select all tabs between first and second click to select all tabs in between - hold CMD on Mac or Ctrl on Windows to add single tabs to selection
  • (2024-07-08) Lorraine Joubert: Though it shows a handle to make the sidebar smaller - it is not working and the standard bar is taking over a third of mu screen. Also not way to temporarily hide it so I can actually see the page I am working on.
  • (2024-06-14) Jason Delladecimas: I like it. Would be good to configure: - the short cut to open close vertical - minified vertical version so they are always there but dont take up space - allow me to place the vertical on the left or right
  • (2024-06-12) Mubasher Hasan: greate
