- (2025-06-20) this is one of the better text to speech extensions for chrome, but it would be even better if it didn't require you to have a huge sidebar open, which takes up a big chunk of the screen, especially on a laptop. still, i think this has quality voices and is easy to navigate!

- (2025-06-08) Exactly what I was looking for. Allows me to select exactly what text I want read, or just to select the entire page. When selecting the entire page, it still allows you to jump around to the different parts. I've been finding it invaluable with my distance learning degree, letting me read along to the text really solidifies it in my mind. It also allows for custom speeds and pitch, with a range of different voices to choose from.

- (2025-06-03) So incredibly useful when doing research. It can be so much better to have text read to you rather than reading it yourself as you can process the information better. Being able to read a whole page or sections that you highlight and select yourself is a brilliant tool and should just come with chrome and not be an extension that you have to add yourself.

- (2025-05-30) It's very useful, I has a lot of languages and offline voices that you can choose and adjust in things like the speed and volume. I would love be able use it without de lateral panel, but at the end the extension does a very good work, so it's ok.

- (2025-05-29) I love IT! I wish it had a better voice, but honestly you get used to it. I love the accommodations it has with colours and with highlighting because I'm dyslexic, I have an astigmatism, and I don't have the best eyesight. Truly a great application.

- (2025-05-09) Has stopped working since a month with this message - Something went wrong. This page cannot be read because it may be a Chrome system page or the content script is not loaded. Please try refreshing the page or opening another one and re-opening the extension window. Same thing everytime.
- (2025-05-08) confusing interface and opens side bar that has to be closed unless you are ok with so much space being taken away. not enough voice manipulation. tested voice doesn't match actual when used on page. have spent too much time already trying to figure out how to use this thing, so i'm not going to continue with detailing issues. There is a much better extension to read allowed that I've been using for a long time and it is much easier to use and straight forwaard in its presentation. Unfortunately it has a lower rating than this thing. I don't recommend this extension.
