¿Recuerdas los sonidos clásicos del viejo Internet Explorer al hacer clic, cuando una página terminaba de cargar o al completar una descarga? Esta extensión los trae de vuelta y añade otros eventos, como al escribir en un campo de texto o al abrir y cerrar una pestaña. En la ventana de opciones puedes activar, desactivar y personalizar los sonidos a tu gusto.
𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀:

· Añadida la página de opciones donde se pueden activar o desactivar los eventos y personalizar los sonidos
· Pasado a desactivado por defecto el sonido al teclear
· Añadidos los eventos de abrir y cerrar pestaña

· Actualización obligatoria al Manifest 3.0 (que es más restrictiva con la reproducción de sonidos)
· Añadido el evento de teclear en una campo de texto

Información sobre la reproducción automática de sonido:
Debido a las políticas de Chrome, las extensiones que intentan reproducir sonido de manera automática pueden no funcionar correctamente. La solución más efectiva que he encontrado es cerrar todas las instancias de Chrome e iniciarlo con esta configuración:
chrome.exe --autoplay-policy=no-user-gesture-required
...o si usas Edge:
msedge.exe --autoplay-policy=no-user-gesture-required
Esto permite que cualquier página, incluida esta extensión, reproduzca sonidos sin necesidad de interacción del usuario. Sin embargo, ten en cuenta que esta configuración elimina las restricciones para todas las páginas, lo que podría generar comportamientos no deseados en sitios con sonidos automáticos.

También es importante tener en cuenta que, tras un tiempo de inactividad, las tarjetas de sonido suelen entrar en modo de ahorro de energía. Como los sonidos de esta extensión son muy cortos, es posible que no se escuchen de inmediato al principio.

- (2025-03-06) C T: Recently added this extension to Chrome in hopes of getting back those sounds that Windows use to have. No luck at al. Any steps you can share on getting this extension working would be great. I see that others have some luck using it.
- (2025-02-25) TupperCord: Could there be a way to enable/disable the typing sounds? I'm not a big fan of them. Otherwise, great extension. Edit: The options page helped a lot with the issues I had, definitely a 5/5 now.
- (2025-02-19) Jessica: Update: The developer has now added an options page! You can now customize every sound option in this addon. I also love that there is a preview button so you can see what the sound will be if turned on! Back up to 5 stars! This was my favorite addon previously that I couldn't live without. Unfortunately with the newest update the mandatory typing sounds have made it so I can no longer use to my liking and have had to disable it from Chrome. If there was a way to disable the typing sounds, this would be a 5-star extension. Hopefully the developer can find a way to make a toggle so I can use it once more!
- (2025-01-24) Doctor Xadium: Great extension, but wish there was a way to toggle off the typing sounds. I already have a mechanical keyboard and the sounds doubling up are disconcerting.
- (2025-01-19) Vincent Y: before upgrading to 2.0 , page start stop sounds plays perferectly and I do not need typing sounds at all. It was a perfect product. Now with 2.0, the page navigation sound no longer plays perfectly with hit and miss sometimes no sound. And the typing sounds is very annoying and there's no switch to turn it off. I wish to downgrade

In between, i used a lot of third party extensions but none of them came even close to this one. I would like to thank the developer for the hard work & request them to maintain it in future as well. *Update* I had written across to the developer highlighting the issue of an error sound at the time of launching the Chrome browser which was promptly fixed by the developer via the update issued on the 03 July. In case you are also facing any such difficulty, please go ahead & update the installed extension to enjoy the fix.
