- (2025-07-11) Brian Harrington: very easy and well worth the money to add timestamps again. smooth process and even ran the exporter again (photo links were broken when I left it sitting, and through a computer reboot), but ran the process again with no issue, and payment stayed valid. Thanks!
- (2025-07-07) Sophie Harrison: Easy simple quick
- (2025-07-03) Joe Parker: perfect. as described.
- (2025-06-28) S: Helped me resolve the only issue keeping me on FB. Thank you TPE! Account deleted and photos/memories saved.
- (2025-06-27) William Wynn: Works pretty well. You will need to pay if you care about the timestamps (which you should care) and they should be more upfront about that. A limitation that I'm not sure if it's the fault of this tool or not, but it's still a limitation: While paying will set the EXIF date, it will not set the file created/modified date, and a lot of tools use that instead of the EXIF date. After exporting I had to use exiftools to update the Created/Modified dates on the filesystem so everything would sort them properly. I suspect this is a limitation due to how the extension implements the download feature. In summary, this will get you 70% of the way there for free and 95% of the way there if you pay.

- (2025-05-20) Christy Hohmeier: Thought Meta would make it easy to do this, but of course not. Thank you to whoever made this extension, is super straight forward to use and the timestamp add-on rounds out the whole experience nicely. No longer have to worry about my high school and college memories disappearing.
- (2025-05-13) Alannah Forman: Works great for tagged photos, but wish I was able to pull the tagged videos as well.

- (2025-04-27) Chimere Ukoh: Simple, yet effective. What more could a person ask for? Seriously though, thank you for giving me even more of a reason to delete Facebook once and for all. Also, that $6.99 for timestamps? 100% worth it.
- (2025-04-25) Nikki Daniels: Incredibly easy, anyone can do it! Highly recommend paying the small amount to get timestamps as well.
- (2025-04-22) Stefan Hansen: Quick easy, no bloat as far as I can tell.
- (2025-04-20) Kirk Redmond: Great, simple tool to do what Facebook won't let us.
- (2025-04-18) Eremite W: Almost perfect. Does exactly what it says. Just load up the page full of pictures you want to download and tell it to do its thing. The only downside is that the file names are all long strings of numbers and there is no metadata in the file. I suspect that FB strips the metadata on upload, but it would be a very nice feature to optionally rename these files in a way that sorts them by the date that they were uploaded or add it to the photo's exif data.
- (2025-04-16) William Lessard: Fantastic extension: simple, fast, and easy to use
- (2025-04-16) Nicholas Gaudern: What a simple and great tool to export tagged photos. Well worth a few $ to add timestamps. Thank you!
- (2025-04-15) Miranda Crabtree: Easy instructions, relatively fast too! So happy to get my memories off this platform. End of an era. Thank you, Tom!
- (2025-04-12) Michelle Witunsky: Took me a few minutes to figure it out, but once I did it was smooth and easy to use. Getting off Meta for good! Also I bought the one time purchase timestamp feature- well worth it for this many photos.
- (2025-04-09) Nora Boyd: Easy to use, totally effective, and when I did have a little blip (user error on my end), the developer was easy to reach, quick to respond, and resolved my issue immediately. Highly recommend!
- (2025-04-03) Corey D. Cutler: It works, no bugs, photos got the timestamps (with fee). But the fee is worthwhile considering the code this person had to write to get around Facebook's shortcomings.
- (2025-03-30) Joey Arbuckle: Got the job done, no bugs. For a small fee they will add the timestamps, it was easy to pay for and worked well. Now I can organize all my photos chronologically.
- (2025-03-29) Stephan DuVal: Fantastic! It made quitting Facebook easier!
- (2025-03-26) Paul Gauger: This extension made it fast and easy to get all my photos off of facebook so I could finally escape that platform.
- (2025-03-25) Ian Ross: By far the fastest and simplest method to download your photos directly. Considering in 2025 FB made it all but impossible to do by relying on their settings, this is 100% worth it. Took less than 30 mins for the entire process and I downloaded 600+ photos and had them timestamped. 10/ 10 would recommend.
- (2025-03-24) Eduardo Cenci: Super fast and easy to use.
- (2025-03-22) Krishna Gillo: Indexed my photos real quick but I am struggling to save it in the beginning. I think you need to do a review for you to be able to download the photos.
- (2025-03-16) Kieren Muir: Simple and fast, best tool out there
- (2025-03-15) Hannah Kolus: Worked great to download all my tagged photos from Facebook, and it only took a few minutes!
- (2025-03-15) Darz Roxas: Simple and Fast !!! The timestamps work as advertised. I'm hope it could do the same with videos and albums one day. Please Tom Cleveland, I don't mind if it takes paying more :(
- (2025-03-14) Anna Dade: This is legit. Worked exactly as described, including when I paid for the timestamps. Recommended.
- (2025-03-14) Andrew Fedor: Tried a few different ways to get "Photos of You" downloaded from Facebook with timestamps. Trying to do it through Facebook is confusing, difficult, and time consuming. It also won't help you get photos that others created with you tagged in them. This Chrome Extension rocked. Incredibly easy and well worth the extra $6.99 to add the timestamps. As much as others might want a totally free solution, building and maintaining something like this takes work. Support them. They also include instructions on how to delete your Facebook account. Good work.
- (2025-03-14) Dan Jones: Worked amazingly
- (2025-03-13) Connie Gao: Really fast and easy to use!
- (2025-03-11) Stephan Hertweck: Very helpful, supports me in my attempt to leave FB for good!
- (2025-03-05) Curtis: The app works well enough and I was able to get all my pictures. I also paid to have the date information stored, which I think was worth it for 1000+ pictures. I can only give 4/5 for a couple reasons, however: 1) I had to try multiple times to get the date information. If some pictures timed out, there was no way to fix only those pictures. I had to start the whole process from the beginning with the extension. 2) I tried importing my photos into macOS's Photos app, however they did not sort correctly by date as I expected. I suspect the date was stored in the filename only, and the EXIF metadata field that the Photos app uses to sort was not updated. I got ChatGPT to write a python script to fix the issue, but it took a while to figure everything out. I wish this could've been handled by this extension. Update: I looked at the FAQ, and I'm not sure why but when I imported my pictures, it didn't show the actual date, only the date that I downloaded the pictures. I appreciate the response, but I was able to fix the issue myself, so I'm good to go.
