Description from store
You can use Angular DevTools to understand the structure of your application and preview the state of the directive and the component instances. To get insights into the execution of the application, you can use the profiler tab, which shows you the individual change detection cycles, what triggered them, and how much time Angular spent in them. You can also inspect and visualize your application's dependency injection tree to better how understand how and why any token was resolved to a specific service.

- (2025-06-27) 刘文杰: Unable to use, the program started reporting errors after I opened it TypeError: Cannot destructure property 'constructor' of 'directiveOrComponentInstance' as it is null. at Object.getDirectiveMetadata$1 [as getDirectiveMetadata]

- (2025-05-19) Юрий: It just doesn't work for me on production build - "Angular application not detected".
- (2025-04-22) Marat Martirosyan AS: If you want(and actually the last versions says about that) to improve Developer Experience, then please fix the naive bugs that there are in this extension. As previously said, sometimes it doesn't recognize Angular, sometimes in the middle of the page work, you need to debug by this extension, and it says that Angular app is not detected, you need to fall all that bug state that you reproduced, and reload the page, or go with an old solution ng.getComponent($0)
- (2025-04-07) Dov Shmilovich: **Serious** performance issues affecting my Angular application even without directly interacting with the extension. It took me a good while to root cause it as well (DevTools profiling did not help much there).
- (2025-03-16) Adnan Omerovic: I got "Angular application not detected." when running Angular app locally, its funny.
- (2025-02-16) Hermes Quiroz: Some times it doesn't work and it seems to break Google Recaptcha on some sites.
- (2024-12-12) vinay kumar: heplfull
- (2024-11-26) Rafael Bs: doesn't work like it should, sometimes it loads and mostly it does not, waste of time.
- (2024-10-29) Conrad Bekondo: Just installed the extension, but I can't seem to find the "Angular" tab in the devtools on Windows but I can find it on my mac
- (2024-10-01) Christopher Hurley: Simao Castro: download the source code, unpack it, change that stupid value, repack it. I mean..... you're obviously using it for dev, they probably have a legal restriction on why they default to that, but you got this, I believe in you!
- (2024-08-23) Simao Castro: Not working. "We detected an application built with production configuration. Angular DevTools only supports development build" I'm running the application using the development configuration.

- (2024-05-22) Jones Prabu Justin Raj: not working, in prod mode it can deduct it as angular app and tells it will not work in prod mode, After running as dev/local one it says Angular DevTools This page is not using Angular, or it has a strict extension policy.
- (2024-05-03) Harindra Masna: Causing browser collapse or broke when we are trying to change allow-access to only on click instead of all-sites. Also the major issue is, Browser is breaking/collapsing during SSO login. especially in my case. However, it is still a good extension to debug angular applications while development.
- (2024-05-01) Alex Oleksiiuk: A good extension if you are a fan of seeing "We detected an application built with production configuration. Angular DevTools only supports development build" no matter the mode you are running in
- (2024-04-05) Marco Ninm: This is perfect extension. Very Cool!!!
- (2024-04-01) Yan Kit Liu: No longer working, is it because of April's Fool Day?
- (2024-03-14) Yoicel Rodriguez: I recently installed this tool and its not working. Keep saying Angular application not detected. Even restarted my laptop.
- (2024-02-29) Alexis Michel: Useful for debugging, might need to use it more ! But.. Currently there is a bug with the extension. The extension block https requests from `HttpClient` to resolve properly. In the network I see that I got a response, bur adding logs to requests show me that the client never 'next' the value. I did not debugged this on multiple projects, but I can confirm the extension is the source (only disabling this extension fix the issue).
- (2024-02-27) Edham Rabuan: I use this tool for a long time, recently this tool not working anymore. Keep saying Angular application not detected. Even restart my laptop.

- (2024-02-13) Isaac Vasquez: I'm using: Angular CLI: 17.1.3 Node: 20.10.0 Package Manager: npm 10.4.0 OS: win32 x64 When I load the Angular extension, a message appears me: We detected an application built with production configuration. Angular DevTools only supports development build. I checked the angular.json file for some variables that some pages suggested should be configured, but nothing I tried could revert it. I'm reading the new characteristics about SSR using Angular 17. It's not available to see in the browser; I must migrate to another kind of evaluation tool
- (2024-02-05) Dilip Suthar: NICE TOOL
- (2024-02-02) Rami Majdoub: very helpful, have some bugs showing values and refreshing the components tree
- (2024-01-22) zeeshan khan: Team, whoever is not able to get the Angular tab in the developer tools, kindly please close the browser or restart your browser once, and make sure that you are inside an angular application, then only the Angular tab will be visible
- (2024-01-20) Kraig Hamady: Doesn't work. Shows me the value of a variable for a split second and then blanks out. Maps and tools won't zoom out or scroll to show anything. Resources/Components don't update on navigation and the panel stays on destroyed components.
- (2024-01-16) Diego Santoro: It does not work!!! If the application is contained in an iframe (like in 98% of the cases in the enterprise development) the tools is not able to detect the angular app contained in an iframe.
- (2024-01-01) Roman Skrypnik: Not working
- (2023-12-28) Nayama Rose: Very useful, but sometimes it won't work.
- (2023-12-12) Danny: Great when it works but the latest update broke it completely for me. Errors in the console when attempting to select a component to debug with it now. Edit: Looks like this is working again for my project (Angular 16), so I presume the compatibility issue has been fixed.

- (2023-11-28) Anthony Silveri: Unfortunately stopped working with Angular 14 applications, can't justify a good review if backward compatibility isn't taken into consideration

- (2023-11-16) Deepak Shakya: The extension is working again with selected element can be inspected for associated data. Thanks for the update.
