Open YouTube videos in VLC.

Click the extension icon when you are on a YouTube™ page to open the current video in VLC (or just hit Alt+V).
Full controls and more features are on the way... stay tuned!
VLC uses less resources and can boost the volume up to 200%.
NB: You _NEED_ to have VLC 2.0 (or above) installed and to activate its http interface (read here https://github.com/azrafe7/vlc4youtube/blob/master/instructions/how-to-enable-vlc-web-interface.md on how to do it). You may need to restart VLC after enabling the web interface.

- Used to like this extension and use it from time to time, but it breaks YouTube Music Premium (makes it skip songs and play ads despite being on Premium). Had to remove it.

- So far it works, but I can't seem to enqueue videos, it goes directly to whatever youtube page I'm on. I'd like to queue up several videos instead of having to constantly paying attention to my chrome browser surfing through youtube videos. Thanks, Update: I followed your instructions and it seems that sometimes the videos just jump to vlc and start playing while other times I am able to select enqueue from the pop up menu and send it without it starting immediately. It seems inconsistent at this point. If you can have it always pause in the pop up before we choose to enqueue it, that would be nice.

- Ничего не появляется в адресной строке, хотя WEB-интерфейс VLC загружается и работает. Версия Google Chrome 49.0.2623.112, версия VLC 3.0, ОС Windows XP.

- отличное и нужное приложение всё работает замечательно

- Работает отлично. Правда, чтобы заработало, надо включить в настройках web интерфейс и во время нажатия кнопки этого расширения в Ютубе, VLC должен быть запущен.

- Лажа полная, не работает, за-то проигрыватель способен сам воспроизводить видео из utuba по ссылке и без этого расширения!

- Works great! Saves you the hassle of copying the url to paste into VLC. Which I would do for videos with poor audio. It's not a huge deal, but it's very convenient. Good job!

- Worked right away. Only supports up to 720p30 but I know this is a problem with YouTube and/or VLC (mostly youtube) and not this extension edit why in the crap would you default the keyboard shortcut to ctrl+shift+v you insane maniacal demon edit 2 bumping down a star because I realized I haven't used it after the first time, and realized I still had it installed because I recently reinstalled chrome and it still bloody takes ctrl+shift+v by default

- Funciona perfectamente, deben activar la interfaz web. Para eso entran en VLC -> Herramientas -> Preferencias (Ctrl+P) -> en la parte inferior izquierda en "Mostrar Ajustes" selecciona "Todo" -> Buscas Interfaz - Interfaces principales -> Activas la casilla "Web" -> Reinicia VLC y listo!

- Works well, but I wish there was a way to push the Title/Artist to VLC

- Doesn't work since few days (maybe since last update, idk) - the VLC icon is "grey", the program won't run even if VLC is already in the background. Any solutions?
