Description from store This extension provides a 100% guaranteed ethical ad blocking experience. The conundrum at hand: users don't want to see ads, but content providers can't give away content for free. The solution is simple: if a website has ads, the user simply should not be able to see it. This way, the user doesn't experience ads, but they also don't leech free content. Everybody wins.

  • (2015-11-06) Alex Torres: I fail to see why anyone would ever want to use this. Most websites have ads, even safe ones. There will always be a way to circumvent these ads, as coders are constantly looking at updates for websites, since nobody wants to see ads on any website. An ad's true purpose is to persuade users to purchase their product, an effort in usual futility, granting the user the ultimate right to decide whether she is interested in viewing ads. So if the users are not interested in seeings ads, there should be no reason the ads are visible, despite the profit they will gain from them. My point is, it's the 21st century already, people will always find a way to block ads, so ad-supported websites should do what the music industry did when everyone started downloading music illegally, which everyone pretty much still does: find a new source of income. Ad-supported websites just need to learn to be flexible.
  • (2015-09-24) Heinfried von der Weser: Ist echt ein "super" Blocker! Sehr viele wichtige Seiten für mich, werden auch geblockt und ich kann sie nicht mehr aufrufen
  • (2015-09-23) Luca Repetti: It's fantastic!
  • (2015-09-23) Fallenone Nine: I believe adds are great! The problem I have, and only reason I have started using an add blocker is, there are simply too many adds which make viewing a webpage impossible. When you wait longer to load the adds on a page than you do to load the page itself, it becomes a problem. If the add redirects you once it has completed its loading it should be blocked. Maybe by ethical blocking you could build a blocker that only blocks an add that oversteps simply notifying a person about a product. Having an add shoved forcefully down your throat is probably why the blocker exists in the first place. Banners and blocks never bothered me, however popups, redirects, overlays, close this to continue, and other such crap make browsing irritating to say the least. Pages with reasonable adds get greenlighted on my browser anyway. Some pages even ask if you stop using an add blocker on their site. A polite request goes a long way when the adds are not cluttering up your browsing.
  • (2015-09-23) yoshimtu: Does exactly what it sounds like, pretty good if you want most of your websites blocked I guess. But it doesn't offer a way to whitelist, continue while viewing ads, or anything. Would be nice to say "Sure I'll view ads, let me in"
  • (2015-09-23) Halfey Halphstein: Not what I expected though. I'm aware of the moral/ethics debate about using adblocker. However all browser adblockers I've used (only 2 so far) gives me an option to whitelist. Unfortunately this one have none so I ended up seeing a completely blocked website without a way to make an exception. I understand this extension is still new and there's are rooms for improvements but I think a simple whitelist should have been made available from the get go.
  • (2015-09-23) Kyle Graehl: A great extension!
  • (2015-09-22) Dana Johnson: Fantastic, I never have to compromise between browsing experience and my ethics again.
