MagicScroll Web Reader

I really loved this extension and used it daily. It's deprecated now but it's possible to hack it for your own use if you are up to it. ChatGPT walked me through updating it to Manifest Version 3 and loading it as a personal extension. Messy but will get the job done.

al meglio non c'è mai fine. Dopo aver scoperto il sito Readability e potuto vederlo in Mercury la sua fine. Ho continuato a migliorarmi con altre estensioni tipo Mercury, estensioni ottime come Reader View. Eppure questa applicazione mi piace molto perché contiene delle novità mai scoperte prima.

great. a few feature suggestions - a inverted dark mode - 2 column mode - ability to remember last page position - also allow user to select the text that is to be shown in read mode. sometimes the app cannot extract text properly. so user can select text. - also readme page on start can explain the hotkeys etc is the source open ?? would like to contribute , as a developer

I really like this!! :D But you could be possible to change the number of columns - 2 will be great, the font and background colors, but it's ok anyway :)

Хорошее расширения для удобного чтения текста. Только не хватает перехода в самое начало и в самый конец текста (допустим, Ctrl+Home and Ctrl+End, соответственно). Спасибо.

Only reader that worked on the first article I tried.

First everything appeared pitch black (finally i changed the setting in the dark) Surprise!!! Text is overlapping top part missing its just garbage what you see. I think this app is buggy useless. Thank you!

Hi there! I love this app. it's great - very useful and innovative in the sense that it's a very simple, yet pragmatic design. However, I gave this app four stars because I would love to see a keyboard shortcut functionality. That, is the only thing preventing it from being five stars. Other than that, I appreciate the existence of this extension :)

Крутая идея. Но не хватает скрола текста вместо переключений страниц.

This is perfect. I wish it had a night mode theme, also if it showed an estimate of how long it would take to read something would be beyond awesome.

An essential app that made Chrome my only browser choice (I really want to switch to Safari though). It makes website reading serious and patient.

Please do the ability to align text to the left, not only in width.

This extension does exactly what I need it to: it takes web pages of block text, sprawling from one edge of the screen to the other, and compacts it into a beautiful reader in the middle, with plenty of customization. Thanks a ton to the developers behind this.
