- Works well overall, and I really like that it runs directly inside the browser, which makes it convenient and easy to use. Performance has been solid so far. That said, I’d appreciate a more detailed and customizable options menu, as the current settings feel a bit limited.

- hey its not a bad free vpn its safe but the bad thing about it is that the countries are generated randomly if they could do maybe like 5 countries for free but we choose whatever country we want that will be amazing. if you do that it will be great i hope you listen.

- I've enjoyed the paid version for around 2 years but now it seems the govt has caught on. The web extension just doesn't connect at all, mobile app usually does, and the TV app connects after trying and connecting to random plus servers... It was wonderful while it lasted... Dropping the subscription in the next cycle.

- The free version is mediocre, a regular VPN without impressive speeds. However, the paid version is very cool, with top speeds, the ability to choose connection countries, and most importantly, it's simply the ultimate solution for the Proton ecosystem. I am very satisfied.

- After switching from Surfshark, Proton VPN’s interface and usability feel significantly underdeveloped. While Proton may offer stronger security due to its privacy focused business model, that does not justify a weaker UI, fewer practical features, and a higher price. Privacy first does not require compromising user experience.

- I really love this, even though the free version still provides unlimited access at high speeds. In my opinion, the owner is very generous and not stingy towards customers with limited funds. I give it a 4 because if the free version allowed users to freely choose their country and if the premium version was even cheaper or offered a one-time payment option for certain customers, then I would give it 5 stars.

- Gave this one a brief try. But I do not like that it picks a server at random from anywhere in the world, and most likely not your home country. If you want to try again there is a "waiting period" of anywhere from 45 seconds to as long as 10 minutes - then another server is again picked at random from anywhere in the world - and most likely not your home country. A lot of good it does to find a local Company website if that webisite thinks I am located in a country the local Company does not do business in. It would make more sense to pick a server at random for the country you are in. So no surprise here tat the rating for this is as low as it is. OTOH, it does connect automatically when the browser starts, which is nice. One less thing to remember there.

- The ability to use split tunneling in the extension is more functional and helpful than in the desktop version. It allows me to bypass the VPN for sites that already have a high level of safety, and prevents the VPN from causing errors on these sites. USE IT CAUTIOUSLY, but use it when needed after you verify the security.
