Subturtle is a Google Chrome extension designed to make learning English effortless while watching online videos. It allows you to do more than just watch videos. You can instantly translate words by hovering over them, simplifying unfamiliar vocabulary. You can also translate entire subtitles into your desired language.
With Subturtle, you can view detailed word definitions, learn about parts of speech, and save any vocabulary for later review. The extension currently supports popular platforms like YouTube and Netflix, with plans for future expansion. Get ready to elevate your language learning with Subturtle!
How does it work?
Simply open a video on a supported website, activate subtitles, and then hover over or click a word.
How to translate multiple words?
1. Press the Ctrl key on Windows or Command key on Mac.
2. Click and drag your mouse to select multiple words.
3. The translation will then be displayed.
Available features:
- Translate single or multiple vocabularies within subtitles.
- Select your native language for translations.
- Save any vocabulary into your custom bundles.
- Explore your saved vocabularies in a dashboard.
- Practice any bundle with your AI coach in the dashboard (NEW).
