This extension allows users to download sections of a Twitch VOD within the browser.
Now supports viewing deleted VODs from within the browser.

**ATTENTION**
Deleted VOD recovery is always going to be a shot in the dark. There will be missing segments and sometimes the VOD will not be available at all. No VODs are available after 60 days. Very few are available after 14 days.
If you are getting a hangup on "getting recent stream data" for more than one minute -- contact me directly with the channel information, and I will attempt to troubleshoot the issue.

1) Changed download to mp4 format
2) Video player now attempts to find the first valid VOD segment before playing. This fixes the hang-up when a deleted VOD is available but has missing segments. This is just a partial fix. It will drop you where the first valid segment exists, but it will not skip over missing segments.
3) Changed the UI behavior. Hovering over the button no longer pulls up the menu. Clicking now opens the menu and you can click from there for further actions.

- (2023-08-01) I use this to primarily watch a streamer that doesn't have auto-publish on (annoying). I use video speed controller to watch at 2x or higher (some weird issues with it sometimes) and it's nice that I can catch up to live much easier than refreshing the normal vod page, very similar to how youtube lives work in that respect. I have a question, I usually use streamlink to automatically download some vods since my streamer doesn't auto-publish and sometimes he deletes the vod (I've been burned too many times), also helps with muted sections of the vod. I'm wondering if you can continuously download like streamlink but through the vod instead of from the stream, since my streamlink vods have missing data from ads. Could this be possible in theory?
- (2023-07-30) elie ser: It does the job. It downloads the VOD. But the file doesn't work and can't be exported to any video software because it isn't an MP4. Please fix this. I don't see any other reason why someone would need the VOD to not export it to a video software.

- (2023-07-28) Gaawdz: Works as it should, however that you named it mp4 while it actually is MKV was annoying, my editer wasnt able to take Mkv files.. I needed to come here and read the reviews to know why the editor couldnt use this mp4 file.. I hope in time you manage to actually output a MP4 file now i have to conevert it manually.

- (2023-07-12) michael the mmurr: I don't know if something changed on Twitch's end, but it seems impossible now to view any recent vods from small streamers (<5 viewers) even when they are currently streaming. Using the twitchtracker link for these streams did not work either. Up until recently, this extension worked perfectly.

- (2023-07-10) Denstrol: Works great for what I need it for! Only one little problem I have with it is that the files don't work in Adobe Premiere until I transcode them in Handbrake. I'm not really sure what the issue is, but if that were fixed it'd be a 5/5!
