- Can be saved as a document, PDF or other type of file and pasted to Google Keep, Google NotebookLLM, or Recall. Great to have a library of summarized Videos even if they are just links to the YouTube Videos. I am not sure if Youtube Playlists save the summaries. Update: Yes of course, the applet does stay attached. The advantage of using NotebookLLM and Recall is that you can take notes and treat many of the YouTube videos as tutorials, classes or just reviews. Highly Recommended and well worth the investment. Stay frosty!

- You could use Gemini or other Google AI products to summarize youtube. But the UI/UX experience of Eightify is significantly better. Also, it summarizes the comments section which no other AI Youtube Summarizer does (to my knowledge). So if you want to quickly extract wisdom from the comments, this is by far the best and perhaps only app that can do that effectively.

- It's a useful utility, that just sits there on YouTube. I often use it when listening to a video and just want to recap a recent point, or sometime read and then watch the video. Great tool!

- A simple and affordable app that's perfect for anyone who values their time and wants to stay informed with global news and insights. :) Lol, it might serve other purposes too, but that's how I use it, and it works flawlessly. It saves a ton of time. At $10, it’s absolutely worth it. Privacy-wise, everything’s great, just configure it to activate on click instead of automatically launching with YouTube. Done.

- It did one subpar summary for me and told me I was "out of shots" for the next 8 hours lol. Should work on your "7-day free trial", right now not quite putting your best foot forward. And, well, a subscription model for something like this is scummy anyway, I'd consider it if it was a one-off lifetime purchase, but paying monthly for this is ridic. (oh and making users have to go through a sign-up rigmarole for an extension is, hm, brave)

- I give it a 5 star for doing their best and because I like the product and brings me a lot of value, skimming through videos. What's really important for me is to fail less often, many times it stops summarizing because of some failures informing (something like "Something went wrong 😿 Please try again later. We are working on it.", or some videos don't have transcript), yet after 2-3 retries it actually works. On mobile it's more annoying because I have to do multiple steps to retry. I'm hopeful this product becomes more mature. If things remain the same over the year, I can imagine dropping my review to 3-4 stars. I'd love to also add more customization or more options for my output.
